About this property

House on wild heathland in first row to the sea

  • You’ll arrive at a vacation home where the pace naturally slows down. The house is located right on the water’s edge on a wild heather-covered plot with a private path to the beach. You can enjoy the ocean view from almost every room, and after a dip in the water, the sauna is the perfect place to end the day.

The interior design and the bright rooms create a relaxing setting for your stay by the coast. The ocean view follows you throughout the house, giving you a sense of being right in the heart of nature.

Outside, the wild heathland surrounds the vacation home. Here, you’ll find space for tranquility, fresh air, and long evenings under the vast sky. Wake up, open the doors to the terrace, and enjoy your morning coffee there.

Sjællands Odde offers freshly baked bread from Tir Bakery, fish straight from the sea at Odden Fisk, and local specialties at Birkemosegård. Gudmindrup Beach is one of Denmark’s best sandy beaches, and the ferry to Aarhus departs from Odden Ferry Terminal.

This vacation home is simply one-of-a-kind and truly special! The location is fantastic, and, as the photos suggest, the house offers a stunning view of the natural surroundings. Windows on all sides allow you to enjoy the beauty of the area. The house offers plenty of space, and the outdoor area—with its sauna, the deck that wraps around the house, and the natural surroundings that are very much a part of the experience thanks to the beautiful location—makes for a truly special stay. The house is wonderfully equipped, and Christen and her family are truly wonderful and gracious hosts; you’re lucky they’re willing to share such a great house with others.
