The location is excellent as it is within the castle walls. The rooms are small, but adequate. It is easy to communicate with the staff on WhatsApp, even when they are not at the front desk. The air-conditioning did work, which was a bonus, and there was a small deck, which was nice. It is definitely a busy area if you do not mind being in the center and is quiet at night.
Liked the hotel-small but efficient. First checkin lady was very nice. No breakfast at the hotel though and sister hotel The Mavino was disappointing. Found a cute breakfast place right around the corner from the Corta Regina though-Cristallo. Had a happy stay in the hotel.
It is an amazing location. Right in the heart of Sirmione. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and well maintained. It is definitely a place I would stay again. My only draw back is the air conditioning was not great but that is the norm in most of Europe.
Had a great stay in Sirmione! GrifoParking was super, making staying in the historic district very worth it. Staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. I recommend it. Also, texting the hotel over WhatsApp made communication very easy.
The location was amazing! Such a cute little area! The staff was really helpful and they helped arrange a shuttle from the parking lot to the hotel. The only thing to prepare for is the small rooms and limited amenities. Also in the pictures it shows a pool but that does not come with the hotel; it is the thermal spa nearby.
P.s. You should go on the boat ride tour! It’s so fun!
P.p.s. This was written from a child’s perspective!
The hotel was very clean and well located inside the fortress. Lots of shops, restaurants and others with
wonderful people and things to do. We had a great time!!!
A beautiful hotel with a great restaurant attached. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The location on the Sirmione peninsula can't be beat.
Nice room, everything works properly, 3 mins from boats and ferries to travel Lake Garda. Restaurants everywhere. Staff were extremely helpful, we had a very good stay.
We arrived early to a warm welcome and our room was ready. We explored the Peninsula as it's great location meant everything close by. The staff were lovely and helpful. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and food was really tasty and good value.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, especially when it came to helping us plan travel and recommending places to visit and eat. Their local knowledge made a big difference and really added to the experience.
The hotel’s location is genuinely amazing. Once the daytime tourists and ferries leave Sirmione in the evening, the town becomes peaceful and magical, and it almost feels like you have the whole place to yourself. Being able to walk around the old town at night was one of the highlights of our trip.
That said, the hotel itself is quite dated and could do with some modernisation. The shower in our room was extremely small and not particularly comfortable to use. One thing worth noting is that the photos showing a “pool” are actually of the thermal spa in Sirmione, not a swimming pool belonging to the hotel itself, which felt a little misleading.
If you are visiting during summer, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere with an actual pool if you plan to stay more than a couple of nights. While it is lovely to swim in the lake, access is quite difficult in places because of the rocks, so it’s not the easiest option if you simply want somewhere relaxing to cool off during the heat of the day. Overall, we still had a lovely stay thanks to the location and excellent staff.
