Perfect stay at Bugana, the villa was well set up and lots of room for a family of four. We never had a bad meal and the choice for breakfast had something for everyone. The pool overlooks the beach so it’s very easy to keep an eye on the kids, but our favourite part was the staff so friendly and helpful. We will defiantly be staying again.

The room was clean but could better. The outlets need to be fixed because they have become lose. The staff were very helpful, courteous and professional. Especially ken ( captain of the boat) he was so warm and professional. Made sure too that guests are safe. Resort Manager Julius took time to get feedback and was very receptive. The food was good but may be needing additional choices. Overall, our stay was relaxing, with lots of peace and quiet and a unique experience because of the location, staff and ambience.

We stayed on the 4th floor which had a great view of the beach and resort however the flight of stairs every morning and afternoon was something I wish we were told about! Nonetheless still a great resort, well kept with modern facilities whilst still being connected to nature.

Bugana resort is gorgeous the men (brothers and cousin) stayed in a terrace room. They had individual bed. The only complaint they had was the fire alarm woke them up early morning at 1 am so they had to run outside. The food was okay they had variety of chooses.

Very very nice place. Quiet. Spacious room (we were in a Villa). Great balcony with table, chairs and a private pool. The food in good. Very good included breakfast. Everything was perfect. Nice beach (but not the best)

Internet wi fi basically really bad. Don't count on the wi-fi when you book,because you will be dissapointed. The Philipino Manager is a lounge lizard who sits at bar drinking all day and flirting with female guests. Property dirty with biting ants everywhere. Food just so so.Staff is very nice but not organised. Don't know haw to set table. We had to walk up and down 3 floors to our room.

We had a wonderful stay at Bugana. The view from our villa was absolutely beautiful, and the room felt very private and high-quality. The Food: Breakfast portions are on the smaller side but always delicious. However, lunch and dinner were consistently amazing—some of the best food we had during our trip. The Experience: Swimming in the warm, clear water at the beach was a highlight. We also took a boat tour; while it’s priced a bit higher than the public tours in town, the boat crew was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, which made it feel worth the extra cost. We also highly recommend the Sipalay day tour—it was exceptional. A Few Tips: The resort is secluded (about 15-25 mins from Sipalay town), so plan to eat most meals on-site. If you’re arriving in town, expect to pay around ₱300 per person for a tricycle to the resort. Also, if you have mobility issues, be aware there are a lot of stairs to the villas—you might want to request a lower-level room!

Tough review. This is a five star location as far as I am concerned.. Little to complain about. Responsive staff.. I could live here easily and be quite comfortable. The food was all at least... a 4 out of 5 which is really good for the philippines in general. The villas are top notch. We really enjoyed our two nights.. but. 1. Calling the room (more than once) to ask if we are coming to eat dinner when we were explicitly told last order is at 8pm... The calls started before 6pm.. One call. That's ok.. more than one. Just tell us if the cook wants to go home early otherwise you are interrupting your customers.. really.. it was bizzare to get called multiple times. 2. 600 pesos to borrow a 2 person kayak for 1 hour.. I dunno.. that's a hard one to swallow considering barely anyone was accessing them. 200-300 pesos.. I am on board. It's overly expensive for what it is. Everything was dropped on the beach.. no assistance.. no ensuring life jackets are used or fit. But... I have to say.. it was a great stay.. at a great place and location is perfect. I would recommend it to anyone for sure I just hope they will think about the two points above. Little things but they left us feeling a little less than the perfection we had and were enjoying.
