Short stay, clean spacious room, clean spacious lobby that smells fresh, friendly staff. 10-15 minute walks to lots of restaurants, metro and shopping mall. Had 2 minor issues with my room that staff helped figure out immediately, shoutout to Avni who also was kind enough to give us an upgrade.
It was our first time in Bangkok. We don’t have much to compare, but we enjoy the days with stays there with friendly welcoming and very good services of all.
The room is small in side but cozy and comfortable enough for our 2 night staying there.
I would recommend for anyone who is visiting Singapore. This location is convenient to the train station and or a restaurants around.
Staff were professional and courteous. The property, though confusing at first because the reception is on the second floor, was easily accessible and welcoming and pleasantly presented. I would certainly be using the Aqueen chain of facilities again. Thank you for the experience.
Aqueen is a great place to stay .
Lovely staff.
The dual entrance and lift-swapping is a minor annoyance .
The pool area needs a little re-paint of the concrete lips but lovely rooms and plenty of space
The staff was really helpful. The rooms were clean. The pool on the top was nice. OK distance if you are takeing the taxi. If you are taking the MRT from Lavender, be prepared to walk approximately 10 minutes.
The pool is nice. Room is adequately functional, beautiful and clean.
Although I was told that I got a room upgrade unfortunately the upgraded room was opposite the housekeeping room and thus rather noisy throughout the stay hearing the door opening and closing all the time.
Very pleasant stay in a decent sized room with nice shower. I got a random free upgrade so the room may have been bigger than expected! Was actually on the Hamilton Road side of the property (it stretches between two roads). Didn't try breakfast or other faciltiies. Bit of noise from outside but quietened down by the time I went to bed. Reasonably convenient from MRT Lavender, Bendemeer, Farrer Park. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
Pleasantly surprised by how clean and mod this hotel is. For its price (S$98/nite exclusive of taxes), it is really superb value for money. There is even a pool with well cultivated garden thats super IG-worthy for those into such things. Love the play on its heritage, with window panes used as cupboard doors. Minor downside is i found 2 smol flies nesting in the bathroom sink. Other than that, all star experience!
decent hotel from a room perspective with all the amenities expected from a 3 star hotel. they advertised a nice pool area ontop so that we expected. but when we arrived the pool was closed for our entire stay. no reparations was taking place either. that was disappointing. they offered us to use one of their other hotel pools 5-10 min away. other than that it was ok hotel. make sure to check the pool status if u book it
We had a lovely stay at the hotel and were very pleased with the styling, cleanliness and housekeeping.
We stayed in an inside room with no window but this did not cause us an issue as we were out all the time and it saved a bit of money.
Slight inconvenience that the entrance is temporarily on Hamilton street rather than the main address but only a couple of minutes walk around the corner. Would have been good to have been notified of this so we could have got dropped off directly.
Plenty of bars, cafes etc close by and a short walk to the main little India.
Two MRT close by either 5 mins or 10 mins depending which line you need to get on
Overall a good value stay

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The hotel itself is clean and nice, if basic. The main issue is that the walls are paper thin. Construction in the hotel was in progress during my stay so hammering and drills started in the morning, so loud that it made it impractical to stay in the room at all, much less have meetings or relax. There's late-night karaoke around the neighborhood, which you can hear loud and clear from your room. If one of your neighbors unzips their suitcase or coughs, you can hear it.
The shower opens to the bathroom and doesn't have a door, so it's impossible to avoid flooding your bathroom with every shower.
The neighborhood is cool and has incredible food. The hotel is fine, it's just worth it to spend a bit more for a quieter, more relaxing stay at another property.
It was fine for me. Nothing special. No window, but that was okay for me. Strange layout. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good enough for me. Coffee available. Orange juice available every other day it looks like. Eggs over easy only. I asked for scrambled eggs. But, depends on who’s manager that morning. One morning it was okay to get scrambled. The next day different guy. He said no.
Love the location. Walking distance to a nearby mall to use the ATM. There’s a Starbucks in the mall. There’s a McDonald there , also. But, I didn’t care for the breakfast. There’s a grocery store and a 7 Eleven.
Lots of restaurants nearby. I recommend REX Steakhouse and Bar. Best margarita I had in Singapore. Recommend the burgers. Very juicy! Call ahead to make a reservation. I just got lucky. Don’t waste your money eating at the Sands restaurants, in my opinion. Would I stay there again? I definitely like the area. Laundry Mat right next to the hotel was definitely a plus
