"This cozy cabin in the woods is exactly what we needed to melt away the stress of our busy lives. It's a roomy, quiet place on a hundred acres with a relaxing Jacuzzi tub and a warm fireplace for the cooler, romantic evenings. The owner had the air conditioning operational and the place was clean and well equipped. We stopped in at the local grocery store before we arrived and never left. Absolutely HIGHLY RECOMMEND this secluded cabin in the woods."

"Room was clean, but dated, staff was friendly, amenities were awesome! Close to Lake Mitchell and Lakeside Charlie's where I got a delicious salad. Property was maintained and quiet."

"If you're looking for a secluded place to get away, this is it! The property is off of a gravel road with a steep hill leading up to it. We were in a truck so it was not a problem, but you might not want to bring an expensive car here. It was very peaceful, except for the noise of an occasional 4 wheeler, and made me notice how much noise is really around me at my home. We were refueled by sitting out in the sunshine, listening to the birds and the wind in the trees. The kitchen had enough cookware and dishes for the two of us, but since there is no dishwasher, a party of 4 would have had to do the dishes after every meal. We enjoyed our stay very much and the things the host provided like soap, shampoo, conditioner, kleenex, paper towels, salt, pepper and cooking oil. The only things we would have appreciated having were a hair dryer and a working flashlight."

"We had four adults who stayed to bike on the trails that run right by the house. Renee did a great job making the house comfortable with lots of information on the local area. She had cold water in the refrigerator. Went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the deck right on the river. Plenty of space for the four of is to relax. Would definitely recommend!"
