Worth a look

Amazing location. Clean, beautiful views, nice room. Staff was not super helpful in terms of the attractions around the area. They were helpful in “hotel” ways though. Food choice is EXTREMELY limited but that goes for the entire town so staying elsewhere wouldn’t have helped.

They made me wait for 45min because they couldn't confirm my booking with expedia they could have give me the room and check that by themselves since the booking is already confirmed.

Reservamos y nos alojamos en una villa, la cual tenía la red que cubría la ducha del baño rota (es un baño semi interior-exterior). Cuando apagamos las luces para dormir, un murciélago empezó a sobrevolar las cabezas, por lo que pedimos un cambio de habitación. Nos trasladaron a una habitación Deluxe, y bajo nuestro criterio, esta habitación fue más bonita y acojedora, pese a ser más barata. El desayuno, “desayuno continental”, corriente, nada especial. Bien ubicado para visitar Siguiriya

Lovely Hotel with peaceful surroundings

The setting of the hotel is lovely: surrounded by plenty of trees with singing birds. There is a view of the rock Sigiriya in the distance and a nearby small shallow lake with wading birds. It is located off a secondary road so there is no traffic noise, just peace and quiet. We loved our villa with the huge bathroom, comfy bed, verandah and great AC. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food is tasty and lots of variety. Ravi the manager is a nice man and we shared some good laughs with him. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our stay immensly. We would go back and we recommend this hotel. It is 10 minutes by tuk tuk to the Sigiriya rock which we hiked up 2 days in a row. It is 30 minutes by car to the Dambulla caves which are a must see. We did the afternoon safari in the nearby Minneriya NP and saw many elephants.
