*** NEW *** Siesta Key beach has become known world wide for its incredible miles of soft white sand beaches and small village type atmosphere. This property is located within a community situated on these very beaches. The community offers beach access to a less crowded semi-private beach, swimming pool, shuffle board, and camp style grills. With such a central location, Siesta Key Village and South Village are just a few minutes ride away utilizing the free island shuttle or free ride services (tips only) available on the island.

Entering through the front door you will arrive in the living room furnished with comfortable lounge seating, TV, and dinette set. Moving towards the rear of the unit you have a 1/2 bath, great for coming in from the beach or pool and showering off. In the rear of the unit you will find the eat-in style kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a 4 piece appliance package among other small appliances and basic to moderate cooking essentials. Access to the rear assigned parking spot is also through the back kitchen door. Back to the front of the unit, taking the stairs up to the second floor you will find two bedrooms and full bathroom. One bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bedroom set and equipped with TV. The second bedroom is furnished with two double-size beds and equipped with a TV. The two bedrooms share a full bathroom with combo tub/shower.

Minimum Stay Requirements: 1 week minimum reservation required mid December through mid August with 5 night minimum accepted a maximum of 30-days in advance during remaining months.

Won't stay in this unit again

Property grounds and laundry are fine. Beach access is great. Unit we stayed in itself leaves a lot to be desired. Busted dining room chairs, all but one of the refrigerator door shelves were broken so useless to store condiments in the door. Very outdated decor. Pillows and one bed not at all comfortable. Floors were free of sand but very dirty, our feet turned black walking inside. No beach wagon to use. TV's did not work properly at all. Don't expect to find any leftover shampoo, etc from prior guests. You need to even buy garbage bags

Mixed Feelings

The beach is great and great location. But... · The construction on the main road in front of the unit was horrible, had we known we would have stayed somewhere else. · Security guard allowed non guests access to the private beach. · The back door was not secure when we arrived. Also the battery on the lock was dead so we had to use the front door even though our parking spot was in the back of the condo. · Backdoor screen door hardware on backwards. Not sure how someone would even do that? · The main laundry room was out of order, just to find out the back up was 1 washer and 1 dryer. · During July 4th celebration on the beach the young kid in charge of the chairs had most of them chained up. He seemed lazy and just didn’t want to pick all of them up afterwards. · Unit instructions are not personable, we would not spend $ 2500.00 and then steal a used fork.

Pros: Excellent location to the beach, easy parking, designated spot in back and can park extra vehicle in front. Beach towels provided. Hot water in showers. Cons: Need new mattresses. They are old and super uncomfortable. They only provide 1 roll of toilet paper in the bathrooms and 1 paper towel for kitchen. Stayed 7 nights and it'd be hospitable if they provide extra. I had to purchase garbage bags, toilet paper, dish cloth, bath soap and dish soap. Floors were swept but not mopped. Small kitchen is overly cluttered with unneccesary items. The weird fabric thingys on fridge handles were gross and dirty, pot holders had crusted food on them. They should be switching these out with clean ones for new guests. The plastic table cover was clean on top but placed over a dirty table so I had to clean kitchen thoroughly in order to have a clean stay. There is a closet downstairs that holds all of the beach and cleaning supplies and it is a big disorganized mess. Items just thrown in haphhazardly. Across the street has several construction projects so expect loud construction noises super early in the morning with lots of traffic from several trucks and large vehicles throughout the day. Had to call to get access code because they never provided it at check-in time. They require you to use their own online portal to check in and out but it is a hassle to use and was never updated to provide door key code to get in. Had to call after-hours phone number to get code to get inside.

It was clean, had an issue with the bathtub upstairs. When you stood in it the floor waved, felt like you were going to fall. We could hear water sloshing under the tub. And the shower door in downstairs bathroom would not shut. Everything was good but the bathrooms need attention.

Fun Family Vacation

We had a great vacation at this location! The walk to the beach was quick & there were always beach chairs available! The pool was nice. The townhome is outdated but it was very clean. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed in Siesta for my sister's wedding on the beach. The walk to the beach was perfect and the distance from eateries, shops and fishing was out of this world. We were in the middle of everything!

Loved it!

This was a great vacation for all of us. Close to town, shopping and many places to eat and drink. But the beach is why we went. It is perfect. Short walk to get there and so much room to set up.

Excellent location

The condo was clean and a perfect size for our short stay with all the amenities. We loved the short walking distance to the private beach and access to lounge chairs. Highly recommend this location in Siesta and rental property. Transportation in to the main village is easy and quick, either by trolley or calling the Frog Hop.
