Sierra Mountain Cemetery

We have stayed at GSR before and really enjoyed it. However, we were disappointed this time. We arrived at 4 pm and did self check in at the kiosk. Got our room right away at the Sierra tower on the 10th floor. We were traveling with 3 small children. Upon entering the room, it was really hot and stuffy. We figured it was because the AC wasn’t on, understandable. Then as I was walking towards the window. Something caught my eye that was moving on the couch. It was a bug. Then I noticed that one of the comforter sheets had some hair on it..like animal fur? Not too sure. We also notice that the lamp on the nightstand next to the beds had collected so much dust. I’m not sure if the room we stayed at has not been in use for awhile. I ended up using a tissue to pick up the bug and went outside the room to let the cleaning staff know and asked for a new comforter. The AC unit was taking awhile to kick in so we decided to take the kids to go grab some dinner and play at the arcade. When we came back later around 9 pm, the room was still hot at 78 degrees. We figured it’s just the heat of Reno. Throughout the entire night, we slept with no blankets because the room was still hot and stuffy. When we woke up in the morning, the temperature in the room dropped to 70 degrees. We set the temperature to 65 since the evening before. I think the unit was broken. We didn’t want the hassle of switching rooms because we were going to leave the next day anyways. Kids enjoyed pool and arcade.

La casa estaba expectacular cumplio todas nuestras espectativas. Ambiente muy comodo y relajante para pasar en familia.

Loved our stay. Will be coming back. Everything was perfect. Staff is so friendly and helpful.
