The lower part of the curtain was not cleaned and was slimy. The dirty things were dissolved in the hot water. So I could not take a bath in the tub. Although the satisfaction of this hotel was great, it became ruined.

Reliable but time for a spruce up

Lovely old villa away from the bustle of downtown. The rooms are a little tired and dark but have what you need. Good things are the friendly staff and willingness to help. Re the rooms, the bathrooms don’t need baths and shower over a bath is not fun for a tired traveller. The window to the room is not good either. It doesn’t help with light and doesn’t feel private. I like bathrooms with walls. I have stayed Frangipani before and always enjoy so glad I stayed but I know Siem Reap very well now and know there are other fantastic places to stay which are just as good value for money. However I still recommend for first time newbies

My parents and I stayed for 5 nights. Overall it's a great experience, great value for money. Highly recommend! - Staff. Super friendly and responsive, smile all the time They serve well. We communicate in English smoothly. - Pool. The pool area is great, exactly like the pictures, and with a Jacuzzi. Great for kids and family. - Room. The hotel has 4 floors, 3 floors are rooms + 1 floor reception and restaurant. We stayed at 3F. My parent's room was west-facing and my room was east-facing. My room faces the neighboring building which is only 2 meters away. The neighboring building blocked the light and the room is dark during the daytime. Parents' west facing room is bright without any obstructions. The room is tidy and clean. The plug points in the wall were a bit loose. - Breakfast. Great with porridge, egg cooking station, local noodle cooking station, pancake, fried rice, fried noodle, toast, cereal, yogurt, sausages, milk, coffee, and juices. Open from 6-10am. Great breakfast. - Restaurant. I ordered room service for sandwiches, and it was served within 30 mins (quite fast compared to avg 45 mins for most hotels). The sandwiches are really good and fresh. Didn't try other things on the menu. The price is a bit expensive compared to pub street and local restaurants. (sandwch USD 6.5, mains above USD 10) - Others. The only inconvenience is on the last day of our stay, experienced 5-6 power breaks, each time maybe 1-5 mins.

A perfect small hotel

The staff made our stay in Siem Reap an experience we will not forget. They were gracious, considerate and treated us as if we were individuals. The hotel itself is lovely, just the perfect size, the pool is a welcome site after a day of temple exploring, and someone there makes the best Singapore Slings I have ever tasted. The breakfasts are wonderful and the evening meals were good. We would recommend the hotel. Try to get a room with a pool view! Ours was lovely.

Location are not too bad, but hardly able to communicate with most of the staff due to most of them doesn't speak english. Only a handful of top position staff are able to communicate in english but they are not in the hotel most of the time!

ホテルの前は、コンビニ、スタッフも親切で快適に過ごせます。 スパは、１５パーセント引きでとてもよいです。 朝食も美味しいです。 歯ブラシはないので持参して下さい。 シャンプーも持ち込みの方がいいです。セイフティーボックスは、壊れていたのでフロントに預けました。 費用を安く、のんびりしたい方にオススメします。
