Seaside condo in Sidney

We enjoyed our stay at this well appointed condo in Sidney. The location was perfect with a very short walk to the waterfront and shops. Modern, clean and quiet, I highly recommend staying here.

The best part of our stay was the location to stores, restaurants etc. For the most part the place is comfortable and has most everything you need. Lots of storage is a bonus as bedroom is very small and has no window.

Great location- Right downtown Sidney, lots of restaurants, stores and waterfront nearby. No air conditioning but opening the window and turning the fan on kept us cool. Easy check in and checkout.

The suite is a lovely place, with great location. Check in and check out went well - the photo's were helpful to locate the lockboxes. However, the suite definitely lacked in the cleaning department - the floors were filthy and dust / dust bunnies were on most surfaces in the living space and bedroom.Little things such as coffee pods for the keurig machine, salt and pepper shakers, dishcloths for the kitchen, garbage bags, etc would have been very welcome and elevated the experience.

The suite was very clean and well-stocked with pots/pans/plates/cutlery. Bed was creaky - roll over and it was noisy. Otherwise all was excellent, great wifi and tv on wifi, pretty perfect. Not cozy, though - minimal decor.

Unfortunately, this was an extremely uncomfortable stay. Although air conditioning was not listed as an amenity, the listing did not make it clear just how unbearably hot the apartment becomes during the summer. The only fan provided worked poorly and did very little to cool or circulate the air. The heat made it almost impossible to sleep. During our first two nights on our vacation, my husband and I both had to take cold showers and go outside multiple times just to get some relief. Had I known the apartment would be this hot, I would not have booked it. When I contacted the host about the conditions, I found their responses dismissive, rude, and unwilling to reasonably address my concerns. Rather than acknowledging how uncomfortable the apartment was, the host focused solely on the fact that air conditioning was not listed. I acknowledge that the property had a no-dog rule; my parents’ dog briefly entered for less than ten minutes, and I mention this because the host may portray it as a much more serious violation in their response, as I understand they may argue with this review. Based on the excessive heat, lack of adequate airflow, sleepless nights, and the way my concerns were handled, I cannot recommend this property for a summer stay. Based on how this situation was handled, I would not recommend booking with this type of host.

The condo building is quiet. The suite is large enough for two people. There were a few housekeeping items that needed to be addressed but other than that, we have booked again for next year.

Seamless check-in. Clean, quiet, comfortable condo. Conveniently located. Perfect for a couple visiting Sidney. (Dangerous having an amazing fresh bakery located half a block away).

It is essential to closely inspect this and every short term rental upon arrival. Document any minor or major damages and anything needing repair. Notes, photographs and videos. Immediately share these findings with the property owners. Document and immediately share noise concerns from adjacent units. This unit does not seem to be maintained and monitored by the property owners themselves. Note that the bedroom does not have a window.
