This is a great home in a great location near the lake. I was there on some business for a short time, and it was a nice home base while I was there. Bed is comfy, kitchen is well appointed, TVs were Smart TVs which is always great - WIFI worked great too.

The home was nicely suited for 5 people and 4 guests who came during the day. Even though the weather was cold, we enjoyed the covered deck and firepit. This would be a fantastic place to stay in the summer!The hosts had left a variety of snacks and the makings for roasted marshmallows. Nice touch!We wished the towels had been updated as they were worn and Ithin. We had a problem with the kitchen outlets which was quickly resolved by the host. It might be helpful to leave instructions so that others don’t need to contact them to resolve the issue.We would stay here again.

Great stay. Super clean, quiet and perfectly secluded. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Host was easy to reach and quick to respond. Romantic spot and our dogs loved it too. Would definitely come back.

Hosts are wonderful and very quick to respond to any messages, and we so enjoy staying at their house. We love the front patio, back deck and lovely home. We have gone back for the last 3 years and will go again next year. And, they are pet friendly.

It was the perfect place for our family to stay. It is close to everything yet isolated from busy roads and noise. It is very spacious and clean, with all the amenities and everything you need. They responded quickly to our request and checked in to see if we had any questions or needed anything.

We had a great time visiting Pinetop at the Hilltop Hideaway. Hosts were great, check in and stay went smoothly so we did not require any additional assistance. House and amenities were exactly as described. We have stayed up in Pinetop at different VRBOs each year over several years, this property has secured 1st place with us and the dog as well. :)Our dog loved the big fenced yard and the closed front porch as well. There are other dogs on the other bordering properties, so if you have reactive dogs that would be bothered by occasional barking / standard dog behaviors you may want to prepare for that. Neighbors were friendly. Plenty of room to park and relax. Overall we had a great time and would love to visit again!

Does NOT Disappoint!We are repeat guests and find this property checks all the boxes. Randy is absolutely excellent and very hands-on and easy to communicate with. We keep coming back as we know what to expect and are never disappointed. Location is perfect for all our desired activities in the area.

Lakeside - Lake of the Woods

Randy was an excellent host. The house was as described and his communication was excellent. Really loved the location - close to so many of the activities we enjoy. Just wish the fishing was a little better - lol.

Nice, clean home. We love the special touches, like S’mores to enjoy. The owner was very communicative and helpful, which I also appreciated. The neighbors surrounding leave their dogs out all day and into the night and there was constant dog barking. Absolutely no fault of the owner.

Great place to enjoy the mountains

Lovely house and near the lakes. Quiet neighborhood with a back porch and large fenced yard. Grandkids and dogs had a blast.

Pros and Cons

Pros: Beautiful, well decorated cabin with lots of activities. Big gorgeous yard that is well fenced for our little dog and huge deck with fire pit, table and other areas to relax and watch TV outside. Well stocked with everything you need. Would stay again except..Cons: Communication with host wasn't great. At first they responded quickly with walking directions to lake that was "10-15 minutes" It is NOT, after 25 minutes of walking we had to turn around and carry our little pug back to cabin because he couldn't walk any farther. The internet went out and we tried to reach host with no reply. Also tried to reach host about a later check out due to no sleep from bed quality and still no response. Even after check out, still have not heard from host. There are also barking dogs on each side of yard that started our little guy every time he went out. The main reason we cannot stay again is the master bed was so uncomfortable we got very little sleep over our two night stay. We actually even tried sleeping on the recliners on the couch the second night but tried the bed after awhile and woke up needing Motrin and thankfully a heating pad we had brought. But the property and cabin are adorable.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect location, we played horseshoes, cornhole, the back patio was a great spot to relax drink coffee and watch some tv!We will definitely book again.

Great stay in Pinetop!

I took my family to Pinetop for a quick getaway and to go skiing. The location of this property was great. Close to all the restaurants and also in walking distance to Rainbow Lake. The home was fully stocked w/ everything we needed to cook meals. We came back from a long day of skiing, put some burgers on the grill, put the fire on, and relaxed and watched a movie. The house was clean and communicating w/ the owner was great. The backyard was large and great for our dog. This was a great stay for my family and and we are happy to recommend this property to anyone!
