Find hotels in Shorepine Village, Pacific City

"If I could rate it zero stars, I would. Impossible to check in — no signage, especially troublesome at night. Stuck in the 1980s, you get one actual key versus a couple key cards. VERY thin blankets, so to combat the cold, they just turn the heat up to the level of the Sun before you arrive. No typical hotel/motel extras, including even a phone to contact the “front desk” for any problems. Who even knows where the front desk is, because again, no signage. I’d usually say you get what you pay for, but considering the Seagull’s price is not much different than that of other more reputable hotels in the area, you DON’T get what you pay for here. Don’t waste your money, its proximity to the beach is not worth the trade off. This is my first review EVER after years of staying at various hotels picked through Expedia. Normally, you get what you get and just deal with it, but the difference between what is shown and advertised for the Seagull vs reality is enough to make your head spin. "

"Staff was nice, easy check in and check out. Okay for the price but room was not very clean. Literally chunks of something, other stuff on the floor. Definitely didn't clean the floors but I don't think they even vacuumed/swept. That grossed me out so I didn't want to take my shoes off at all unless lying in bed. Also, lotion dispenser had something else in it, soap, shampoo, not sure but definitely not soap. For the price I would probably stay again because it was one of the cheapest but just know what you are getting. "

"Our stay was in the Oceania room 507 which had a beautiful view of the ocean. It just happened to be a little too cold, rainy, and windy to enjoy the balcony. The room was very clean, modern, and had a nice whirlpool bathtub and fireplace. The individuals working at the front desk were always very nice and accommodating. This hotel seems to be a little on the older side, but so do most in the area. They are doing some renovations though. It is a good location within short distances to many restaurants and coastal businesses, and to Chinook Winds Casino. "
