「The building is a relatively new building but built like a quality traditional Queenslander-style house. Quality craftsmanship throughout and decorated with antiques. Very friendly "treat the place like your own" style accommodation. Also: comfortable bed, large modern shower, log fire in the common room, and good breakfast selection included.」

Has an open fire which would be cosy in winter but creates a lingering smoky smell in the cottage (which moderates after you open up the doors and windows). Good value for money and very close to Girraween NP and a family friendly (newish) pub serving good food.」

「Far enough to feel like you're alone in nature, close enough to Stanthorpe that it isn't a hassle to go out. Dinner meals were all fantastic. Sunday warm breakfast was great, sadly they don't do it every day. Room was clean. Saw Kangaroos and some lovey fish in the pond.」
