Millie's Cottage

Relax and enjoy this recently renovated cozy cottage just 2.5 miles from the heart of Shipshewana. Close enough to enjoy all this small town has to offer and just a short drive back from a busy day at the shops where you can enjoy an evening relaxing under the large shade trees by the wishing well in the secluded back yard. From the front porch is a nice view of a neighboring farm and you can enjoy seeing the many amish buggies as they stroll by. If you have a sweet tooth, another perk is the cute little frozen custard /ice cream stand within walking distance of this cozy getaway.
Inside you will find wireless internet, dish tv with all your favorites, DVD/Blue Ray player, a gas log fireplace with comfy seating space to unwind after a long day as well as a cozy nook for reading or having that morning cup of coffee. A Keurig coffee machine highlights this bright full size kitchen stocked with all the dishes, pots and pans needed to prepare your favorite gourmet meal if you choose. Microwave, electric skillet, toaster, electric griddle and hand mixer as well as oil, salt & pepper and a complete spice rack are all provided. A sound machine is provided for each bedroom for those light sleepers who might need a little something extra to help them doze off at night.
This property is less than ten miles from the 80/90 Indiana Toll Road and only 43 miles from Notre Dame, making it not only attractive to football fans but to anyone looking for a nice quiet getaway. And another great perk; (No space heaters allowed)

Concert getaway

We were in town for a concert and found this little house to rent. Loved the decor and comfortable furnishing. The street has alot of trucks which were a little noisy but we loved watching the buggies go by.

Great property

We came into town for two concerts at the Blue Gate. This house was perfectly located for exploring everything the area has to offer including an easy drive to venue. We enjoyed our down time at the home especially seeing the buggies pass by. Everything we needed was well laid out and check in was very easy. We would definitely stay here again the next time we're in the area.

Cute house!

This is one of the cleanest homes we’ve rented! Very well kept and decorated. Super close to all things in Shipshewana and surrounding towns. We even drove up to Michigan for a day, nice scenic drives every direction. Only drawback is the street house is on is very busy and loud. Overall, a great place to stay if visiting the area.
