Great location, Value for money

I stayed at 2 Museum Cottages for a week whilst performing at Sheringham Little Theatre a short walk away. The place was clean, comfortable and caters well for one or two people. The kitchen was well equipped and there were no issues with our stay. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the narrow, steep staircase and small nature of the property. We parked in Morris Street Car Park a short walk away with no issues.

Cute but basic

Cute, tiny cottage, perfectly located for shops and beach. It's basic but perfect for a single or couple who don't expect anything fancy. Also dog friendly which is a must for me.

Birding on the Norfolk Coast

Sheringham is a great base for fantastic birding along the coast. 2 Museum Cottages is a lovely quiet place to stay, although in the town centre. This time of year the cottage is a bit dark, but would be more cheery in the summer. Although small, the cottage has everything you need for a great stay.

Great base, lovely location

This was our third time staying at 2 Museum cottages. It provides a great base for Sara and I. A week in Sheringham is always a good tonic at any time of the year! The property is ideal for 2 people who don't need a lot of space. The only disappointment this time was that none of the windows would open to let fresh air in and damp to evaporate, pretty sure on previous says they have opened.

Nice little cottage

Lovely and cosy little cottage, just right for our stay. Great facilities and well stocked with all you need (except kettle descaler!). It is a nicely presented, neat and comfortable. Could do with a couple of hooks perhaps on the side of the fridge for the tea towels in the kitchen area and a lamp around the settee / telly area would be a nice alternative to the bright ceiling lights and also a blind at the bathroom window would be good. The neighbours opposite could do with being asked to be a little more considerate by not keeping their flood lights on all night and to stop slamming their gate every time they go through it (which is a lot).

2 museum

Great little cottage.Struggled to find the key holders building as the sign is small, it was dark and very busy. The company with them Arnold Keys had a big sign that I did notice on the way in and would have helped to look for that.Had a problem with the shower and it was a new plug it needed and was sorted in couple of hours. Great location

Perfect short break.

This was my second stay in Sheringham this year, but my first time staying in this cottage & it definitely will not be my last. A beautiful little cottage in a perfect location. I stayed for 3 nights & didn't want to leave. Just a short stroll down a little alley way & you're in the centre of Sheringham & about a 5 minute walk to the sea front. The cottage is tiny, welcoming, warm & cosy. It was lovely coming back to it after a day of coastal walks. It has everything you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean & tidy & has a real homely feel to it. I'll definitely be back.

Quiet cottage in a great location

My third stay at 2 Museum Cottages. A nice quiet location, ideally situated for everything in Sheringham. There is no parking at the property but there is lots of street parking nearby, no need to pay for parking. The cottage is small but has everything you need for a few days stay, beware of the sensitive smoke detector in the kitchen area!
