Let Shenandoah Gables be the beautiful backdrop to your lasting memories. Take in the river views from the gorgeous great room or deck as you sip your morning coffee. Spend the day tubing in the river, fishing, or hiking in the Shenandoah National Park or George Washington National Forest. Enjoy roasting marshmallows in the fire pit, playing lawn games, or simply sitting and watching the river go by.

There is a deck to suit most—open for sun lovers, covered to keep cool, and a screened porch with festive lights.

The open floor plan joining the kitchen, dining, and living rooms is conducive to spending time together. Settle down in front of the fire place to play a board game or watch TV. For those looking for a separate space, the downstairs offers a large sofa, TV, bathroom, bedroom, and a ping pong table in the garage.

The house sits on a one-acre lot, and includes use of the river front area on the other side of the gravel roadway. To the left and right are forested lots that do not belong to the house, but offer additional privacy to guests.

Quiet time is from 11pm to 7am. This property is located on the river and sound carries a good ways. We ask that you be courteous of the neighbors that live here as well as the other guests visiting and please adhere to this rule. Thank You

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $2500 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
