「We went to Shelton to visit family and found peace, quiet and a beautiful cabin. If you like to hike and are adventurous the owners will guide you to amazing trails. The outside of our cabin was the best. A swing, hammocks, and fire pit. We highly recommend this place. We’ll be back next year .」

「Sweet little house and a smooth process of renting. Great automated communication through Vacasa. House has a happy atmosphere & is well maintained inside and out. Not a ton of cooking supplies so be sure to bring your own if you are making big meals at the house. We were so thankful to have a beautiful and relaxing vacation on the water. 「I got sent up last minute to Gig Harbor for work. Quickly learned there aren’t many hotels around. Wow was that a blessing in disguise. 「Loved the property and neighborhood. Tons of character in the cabin and lots of room. We went to do some hiking at ONP and the proximity was great. 「This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time.」

「Very nice front desk personnel and decent 3 night stay for the price once we got settled in. Fast food places and Walmart within walking distance and it was helpful to have a fridge and microwave.
