"We've stayed here twice now, once during the summer and once during the winter, both times fabulous!! It's gorgeously remodeled and modern with some charming rustic touches. We immediately felt at home. We had great family bonding times walking on the beach, paddle boarding and kayaking (in the summer), collecting sand dollars and roasting marshmallow in the fire pit by the beach, playing board games and just cuddling up with a book, good movie, or relaxing in the hot tub! Oh-and the kids loved seeing the deer! We even saw a mommy and two babies which was thrilling for my twins to see! We can't wait to go again! Thanks for making our get a away so wonderful!"

Stayed for a memorial service - lovely spot, well maintained and nicely decorated and furnished. Everything is there for a great stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.
We have a family cabin on Harstine but it’s just a little too small for all of our family. Your place was a perfect addition! Clean, well stocked, with a huge deck, BBQ grill and kayaks and bikes to use. The house stayed blissfully cool on a warm weekend too. We'll definitely rent again!
Beautiful well equipped property in a quiet location but still accessible to Seattle by local ferries. Sitting in the hot tub when deer wander aimlessly by.
We'll be back!
House was as described, located conveniently for walking around the point to enjoy the beaches and park, plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out during the evenings, kitchen/dining room were perfect for cooking and enjoying meals together, and rooms and sleeping arrangements were great. We didn't use the hot tub but a great perk for the cooler months! The deer visited our yard often and the kids enjoyed that very much. Massage chair was a hit with Grandma! Plenty of games and entertainment for the entire family. Our host was also very responsive when we needed to contact her about a minor hot water issue and the issue was resolved. Great stay!
This was our 3rd visit to this property. It is warm and homey feeling and is in a perfect location. The large living room has plenty of space for everyone to stretch out and be comfortable. It's so peaceful there we didn't turn on the TV once during our 3 day stay. We spent a lot of time down at the beach, and walking the trails.
We did get there 15 minutes early so tried to enter with our code but it wouldn't work. Check-in is 4pm sharp unless you make other arrangements. There were a few minor things that we addressed with the owner on our way out so that she was aware of them.
It is a lovely place to getaway and we do plan to go back.

Enjoyable
Nice relaxation which was much needed for our family.
Well stocked from shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom, to cooking oil and spices in the kitchen. Lots of little touches to make our stay nicer. Beautiful location!
Great spot for our family trip to escape the central Washington heat for a week. Our kids loved the pool and I loved the trails and beaches. Very quiet and well kept community. Would love to come back.
We had a great time on a last minute getaway! Plenty to do for two little kids and very relaxing for the adults. The house was clean and comfy as well! Definitely want to return!
We had a very nice time at this home in a gated community on Harstein Island. We were able to hike, bike, kayak, dig for clams, make smores on the fire pit on the beach, and swim in the ocean water. Very age appropriate for elementary children.
We had an amazing time on Harstine Island and staying at this property. They have all the amenities anyone could need. We all enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks, movies, and seeing the deer wherever we went. My son wants this to be our summer vacation spot from here on out! Thank you homeowners for opening up your home to us!
House and hot tub were very clean. Close to beach. Lots of walking trails. Comfortable furniture and bed. Only item we could not locate was a cutting board. Very nice relaxing stay.

Enjoyed our stay!
This is our 2nd year at the house and we truly enjoyed our long weekend at Harstine Island. Bbq's at the beach (bring the propane for the gas bbq!), tennis, fishing at the marina (bring your fishing gear), walks searching for dear, bike riding, multiple trips to the pool daily, soaking in the hot tub - our 4 & 6 year old boys had a great time.
We look forward to coming back next year and maybe getting around to trying the kayaks!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
There was no way to complete the check in process so we barely got in at 230 am by chance. We had no access to kayak, i got bug bites while sleeping
My husband and I wanted a little get away to celebrate our birthdays. We had a lovely time hiking around the island, enjoying the hot tub, and just hanging at the comfy house. We were lucky enough to have sunny weather and enjoyed mountain views on our hikes! The house and property were wonderful and just what we were looking for in a covid safe weekend away! Thank you!
Enjoyed the peacefulness of the surroundings. Community was friendly and respectful. Enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, catching up on some favorite shows on the comfy couch and loved hanging out on the beach. On our 2nd night we were treated to a pod of orcas looking for dinner. This was our first trip to Harstine Island, hoping it won’t be our last.

Great birthday weekend
We stayed here for my sons 18th birthday. Everyone had a blast even though the rain was fierce that weekend. Our kids ranged 4months-18 and also had a few teens with us and there was something for everyone. The hot tub was a hit even in the rain. The house is so thoughtfully put together with everything you could need. My 4 year old constantly wants to go back to "the cabin" the owners were very responsive. We lived this place!
The Harstene Point community is a fabulous little getaway in a gorgeous location. Great beaches, great walking and running, and not nearly as busy as places like SunRiver. A quiet, relaxing vacation.
The house was small but sweet and perfectly functional. I think the only thing we could have wished for would be some window fans to help cool us down at night in the 90 degree heat. The house stays cool during the day but it was a bit hard to sleep without some air stirring in the Master.

Property was clean, welcoming and full of amenities.
We loved our stay. The house had many amenities and was very clean and comfortable. Our only complaint is that there weren’t any paper towels and an oyster knife would have been handy. We weren’t able to access the bikes below the deck either. The clubhouse was also great and my kids were able to use the pool, hot tub, and basketball court. The home was cozy and we enjoyed the DVD’s, making s’mores, and playing board games. The beds were really comfortable and the living room was spacious. We would come back in a heart beat!
This beautiful home was beyond what I expected. When I see a house in the woods, I think "rustic." This home is beautifully designed. Everything looks clean and well cared for. The linens and towels are fresh and comfortable. I was thrilled to discover that in addition to a Keurig and drip coffee pot, there was also a tea kettle so that I could enjoy a lovely cup of tea. There is a tv in the master bedroom and another in the living room. Thankfully the bathroom is downstairs next to the master. The other two bedrooms are upstairs. When we arrived, the hot tub was set at a comfortable 102 degrees. The hosts sent clear instructions on how to enter which made checking in very easy. We hope to rent this lovely home again when we can enjoy a longer stay.
We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at this property. The pictures just don’t do it justice. The house is very cute, comfortable and nicely appointed with everything we needed during our stay. We had fun walking the roads and nature trails in this community. Heard barking seals playing in case inlet, lots of hummingbirds and deer. The hot tub was clean and wonderful to relax in. We have been thinking to buy property in this community and it was great to experience it first hand. Would love to own here and/or visit again when warmer to take advantage of the kayaks and beach more. Olympic Bakery was a fun outing, the sandwiches, baked goods and ice cream are amazing. Was just what we needed to relax and celebrate our 20th anniversary and spring break.
We were thrilled to have found this little gem. Jenny had great communication before we arrived and even let us know we could check in earlier. The house was spotless upon arrival and a basket of wine and s’mores fixings along with fresh flowers awaited us.
We loved how bright and updated everything was. It didn’t have the musky, damp smell and feel that a lot of these rentals in the woods tend to have.
The hot tub worked perfectly and our entire family loved it.
There were also ample games, a decently stocked kitchen, dvds and automatic reclining sofas which we all also loved.
We hope to be back during the summer to make the most of the water activities and warm weather. We had a great time!
I can’t say enough nice things about this adorable property! It was perfect for a quiet weekend to recharge. Harstine Island is close to the city (just 1.5 hour drive from Renton), but so extraordinary peaceful! The property is in a lovely neighborhood, and even though the houses are close together there are so many trees it feels very private. All the residents we met were very friendly.
The house is very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and full of wonderful little amenities. The kitchen was fully stocked, there were lots of board games, beach towels for the hot tub, cozy blankets for the couch. We appreciated the smart TV.
Check-in was simple and well communicated. The owner was responsive and helpful.
Our only quibble was the heat was turned off when we arrived, which on a 45 degree day made for a very chilly house! It took several hours to get the house heated to a comfortable temperature.
We would absolutely stay here again, possibly in the summer when we can explore more hiking nearby.
