"Stayed late September, 4 nights. Excellent choice if you are looking for an affordable hotel on the south side of Gatlinburg to get you into the Smoky Mountains quickly and with minimal traffic congestion while still being within walking distance (and there is always the free trolley with a stop nearby) of extremely crowded, touristy, downtown Gatlinburg or if you need quick driving access to the bypass to Pigeon Forge. We had a second floor balcony room w/ a pleasing view and sound of the small river next to it. Breakfast was the usual selection of cold and hot offerings, no complaints. Staff friendly, helpful, accommodating, and never slacking, general impression is that of being slightly understaffed as a lot of multi-tasking appeared to be going on. Hotel is in need of some repairs and maintenance, but nothing that creates more than minor inconvenience/ annoyance. A flickering light, a constantly running toilet, a big plug of hair we pulled out of shower drain, and one outside access door with a finicky keyswipe is what we noted; but no odors and never saw a bug other than one persistent fly that came in off the balcony. Pool was closed for the season, and it is tiny if that is an amenity you are looking for. Only negative for us is there are no guest self-service laundry facilities on-site. Overall would recommend and would stay again unless we found another conveniently located, affordable hotel in Gatlinburg WITH laundry facilities."

"The location and the view were both awesome. Parking was somewhat congested, but otherwise fine. I am sure this is not a common occurrence but there was a woman in the room next to us beating on her door at 3am trying to wake up her roommate. This was a not so welcome end to a pleasant trip."

"We had a great stay. We loved the activities they had around the resort. It is a little dated and needs some TLC but it was for sure not a deal breaker. I do wish the indoor pool had been heated. It was a quick 10 minute walk to the strip. The walk back was a little longer having to go uphill. There is a great little pancake restaurant across from resort. We would definitely stay again and recommend."

"We had such a great stay at this hotel! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We especially loved how dog-friendly the hotel was, which made our stay even better. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again! !"

"Our experience here at property was amazing. You were able to walk to downtown or grab the trolley to different parts of Gatlinburg without ever moving your car. The amenities at the hotel were great and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking to visit the area and would like to stay where the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Not to mention it’s peaceful yet close to all the attractions. Enjoy!!!!"
