Newly renovated hotel right on the Riverwalk. A little bar has been added with some interesting and delicious cocktails. Decent breakfast. The rooms are rather small but well appointed and very clean. The best value in downtown Sheboygan.

Pros: Super friendly staff and comfortable beds. Remodeled lounge area was nice and the location to the pier areas was perfect. Cons: Room layout was challenging to get around the desk chair, plumbing from adjacent rooms was really loud, and the sink faucet leaked at the base. The room served its purpose and was adequate.

Our stay was great. Our bed was very comfy as were the blankets, pillows, sheets and towels!!! The decor is great. Both of the staff members were pleasant and knowledgeable.

I liked that we were able to open the window s to sleep with fresh air coming in. We turned off the A/C & slept very well listening to the channel outside. The hotel was very clean & had been recently remodeled. The breakfast provided was so-so. Maybe add some freshly cooked hard boiled eggs to the breakfast for some quick protein. Over-all, very nice stay!

The staff were very friendly and attentive! The breakfast doesn’t have as much variety as a lot of other hotels but would stay there again if in Sheboygan again. Convenient/walkable location too.

The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. I had asked for a top floor, river view, but was given the bottom floor on the end. There was a street light right outside my window, shining directly in the room. And because there were people walking close by on the riverfront, and a bench very close, which had people sitting and talking on it till 10:30 PM, I had to close the blackout curtains, early, which negated my river view. There also weren’t cups for my in room coffee. And I never did find the ice. The breakfast was just ok, very little protein.

it was a great overnight stay for me- polite and accommodating staff, super clean and fresh scented room, loved my sunshine view (which i requested and was granted), breakfast was great (again, with a good view), got an access to the boardwalk and love how the decors/ambiance give that homey vibe, and the quietness that i needed to relax and reset for the week ahead. worth my drive and will definitely be back soon!

The staff was the best, especially Jack working during the day and helping us be comfortable in the common areas, including putting out cushions on the new patio furniture. The room was very clean. Ned’s super comfortable. It is a little outdated and the bathroom is very small, but it worked for the two of us. The downstairs common area has recently been renovated is super cute, comfortable stocked with breakfast items in the morning and coffee and water throughout the day. It has beautiful views of the black river and games to play for young and old. We will be back!

Harbor Winds is a small hotel that sits between the beach and resort area, and Sheboygan's downtown. The good: - Location, location, location. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the beach and the resort area that has several restaurants and bars. It is a 5 minute walk from the downtown area with even more restaurants and bars. Moreover, it is right on the northern broadwalk of the Sheboygan River. - There is a decent bar inside, which actually takes up most of the property's first floor. Drinks selection aside, it is a great place to read and relax right by the river. - The rooms are spacious, and the furnishings are practical. - Room comes with a bottle of water. The bad: - There is 24 hour coffee in the reception area via a machine, but you can only get hot water through the front desk. There is no tea outside, or inside the rooms. - The breakfast barely qualifies as a contentinal breakfast. There is oatmeal, cereal, and some pastries. - Rooms can use a bit of refreshing here and there, especially the carpets. The layout is also somewhat unusual, with a small toilet and bath combo inside, while the sink is outside the bathroom. The ugly: - The walls and floors are made of paper. I had a room on the first floor. I could hear every step and bump off the room above me. Moreover, I can hear the room across from me when they are loud, even with both doors closed. And anything that happens in the hallway is public for all rooms to hear. - Toilet flushes poorly
