"The breakfast was good. Food was fresh and a nice selection. I got unlucky enough to have a bad room. I feel like my situation was isolated so don't let my experience stop you from staying here. My biggest complaint was the way the young man at the desk handled it. Issues arise and that is to be expected. My TV didn't work, phone didn't work, and sink didn't drain. I went down to breakfast and reported the issues to the young man at the front desk, and he simply said, "I'll notify maintenance". I went back to the room and played on my cell phone until it was time for me to leave (3 hours after breakfast). I spoke to the Lady Manager on duty on my way to my car, and told her that I sat in my room for 3 hours and Maintenance still hadn't been there. Turns out, the young man didn't do a thing! The Manager was very nice, apologized for the inconvenience and would take care of the issues with the room. It is because of the way she handled the situation that I gave the 4 stars and not 3 stars. "

"It is exactly how it is described. The host is great at communicating and super responsive. The pool and hot tub were great. The scenery was beautiful. It is very private and peaceful.There are no delivery services, grocery, or gas near by (all 20 minutes or more away). Come stocked and ready to go!As a heads up, you may lose service about 20 minutes away. GPS still worked for everyone. The turn onto the driveway appears 0.3ish miles before your GPS has it marked. The owner does a good job of labeling the driveway with a sign and a picture of the house. Just pay attention. The driveway is a gravel road (a little steep in some places) that my two wheel drive did not appreciate, but everyone made it up okay! The drive down is easier than the drive up!"
