「The tiny cabin in Shaver was lovely. Everything was pretty much exactly as advertised, and the location was off the main road and easy to find. Restaurants and convenience stores were just a short distance and passwords and codes were provided. The fireplace worked perfectly and made the space feel cozy. The mattress was a little lumpy and the sheets and blankets probably could have used a good wash, but nothing that took away from the overall experience. 」

「Overall a Nice Stay, But Some Disappointments We stayed at this cabin and overall had a nice time—the area is beautiful and the cabin itself had a cozy feel. However, there were a few issues that took away from the experience. There were ants in the kitchen, which made food prep a bit frustrating. The kitchen light also didn’t work during our stay, so we were cooking in the dark most of the time. 「The cabin was in a nice location with easy access to Shaver Lake. The wood fireplace warmed the house nicely, be sure to bring your own wood and matches. There are three bedrooms the downstairs queen bed is comfortable, the upstairs queen bed was really hard to sleep on and the room with the bunkbeds was not comfortable for teens so we would recommend only for small children. The house was nice and clean and was a nice place to play in the snow. 」
