"We really enjoyed staying here. The hide-away bed was comfortable. And I appreciated the brown binder with all the information & suggestion. The entire place was beautiful. I got some ideas for my house-like the heated seat bidet & the light. :-) As I mentioned I tried to get in on the 10th but waited too long to make the reservation and it was no longer available. So I changed our day of travel just to stay here and the place did not disappoint!"

"Hotel is a vintage building. Room was small but very clean. Bathroom was vintage but water pressure and temp were fine. It took awhile to get into the building and reach our room because we couldn’t get someone to answer the phone and give us the entry code to the building and our room. Picture on website was not an accurate representation of our room. Would not recommend if you have difficulty climbing steps. "

"A bit of time travel staying in this historic building, with the charm (some antique furniture) and also a few inconveniences (steam heat; no dishwasher) of an older property. Perfect location for enjoying all of Seward."

"The Hayloft was in a great central location for our planned activities in Whittier and Seward. Communication with our host was also excellent! The directions provided were perfect, but I seemed to always miss the turn into the driveway. There is a 20-stair (approx.) steep climb to the front door. Once inside, there are also two separate deep steps, one leading down to the bedroom and other down into the living area. The stairs were not a problem for us, but could be for someone with mobility...

"We really enjoyed our stay in Seward. The house was very large for us, 2 couples, with a nice size kitchen and dining room and a comfortable couch in the family room. The beds were very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to other visitors!"

"The cabin is lovely, very clean and well maintained. All as described. However, you should be prepared for a few things! Boat drop off is a little hairy - if waves are high the water taxi will drop you very quickly (grab your stuff and run off the boat!) or may even decline to drop you on the little beach. This sounds like it's more of an issue at the end of August/early Sept shoulder season. The hike is very steep. Bring a hiking backpack not a suitcase! If there is any chance of rain, be...
