The apartment features two bedrooms, each with two single beds. The first bedroom is accessible through the living room and includes a small private sitting area with a single sofa bed, the bedroom itself, and a full bathroom. The second bedroom is more spacious and also has an en-suite bathroom.
The living room is bright and elegant, with two exterior balconies that can be enjoyed as small terraces—ideal for reading, dining, or enjoying a glass of wine with views of the historic Plaza de la Contratación. We've stayed in Sevilla apartments 6 times over the years and this one is by far our favorite. The location is perfect - on a quiet square that's a short walk to everything. It's a big apartment and well-appointed, I would rent it again.
We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Sevilla. It is a wonderful apartment, with modern appliances and amenities, and also a beautiful classical design in the main living room. We stayed with our 2 kids and one grand-parent and we had a lot of room for lots of us. Of the 5 properties we stayed in our travel, this was the best. I highly recommend.
We thought the location couldn’t be better. It was just around the corner from the Cathedral and Real Alcazar. It was a quiet little plaza. No cars can drive there but taxis can.One bedroom is much better than the other. The 2nd bedroom had no natural light and even with lamps on was dark!2 small balconies that were lively to sit on a night and listen to the horses go by.
The apartment is pretty big with 2 bedrooms completely separate from each other. The view from the balcony is very nice overseeing the top of the cathedral. You can see all the horse rides from the balcony but not a big fan of the smell from all the horses. Most of the sightseeing places are very close. The apartment is overall a great place to stay at. I would greatly recommend this places.
We enjoyed our stay. AC worked great! location was amazing steps from the cathedral and Alcazar. Seemed a little run down compared to photos, and we asked for salt and pepper and never received. Several ?? Said there was WFI but we could never access it. Lights that didn’t work, broken shade in living room, safe that was broken….We checked in after hours (9:30pm) and we’re charged $30 extra for the after hours request, the agent met us15 minutes after arrival even after multiple contacts with agent to let them know our arrival time. ac hadn’t been turned on cockroach in bathroom. The management team was very responsive but couldn’t fix our issues. Not sure why they delivered more sugar when we asked for salt and pepper. For the price and great reviews I expected a little better.
This home in historic Seville is amazingly beautiful, all of the amenities were listed correctly. Our host was helpful and available via text. I just can’t say enough about how comfortable we felt. The location is excellent with quick walks to restaurants, attractions and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a perfect three-week stay at this charming apartment. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city, steps from the Cathedral, the Alcazar, and quaint cobbled streets full of great tapas restaurants and shops. It’s a rare find to have such a comfortable apartment in such a perfect location, we felt at home instantly. The management company was excellent—clear, friendly, and responsive which added to our sense of feeling at ease. We would stay again! Highly recommended!
Location was perfect! The balcony overlooks the plaza so even when my son was napping, I could sit on the balcony and not miss a thing. Pull out bed was helpful. Intermediate cleaning was extra, unanticipated luxury and the staff was easy to get in touch with and very accommodating. They even showed up in 10 min when we locked ourselves out!! Highly rec, we would stay again!
We had a wonderful experience in this lovely apartment! The place was beautifully appointed, comfortable and all 5 of us loved all the thoughtful touches throughout. The host was responsive to our questions. The location was excellent for everything we wanted to do!
The location of this apartment is perfect. We were able to walk downstairs for breakfast and you are in the middle of multiple tourist spots. El alcazar and the cathedral are down the block. Walking day or night was very safe. The apartment is beautiful and clean and has plenty of room. I would stay here again when visiting the area.
We were a group of 4 adults and 1 baby staying in this property for 3 nights. The communication with our hosts was the best we have ever had from a rental. They were prompt and clear and very helpful, including following up to ensure we were enjoying our stay. The unit was very well equipped and spacious and included numerous Welcome/Host bags of essentials. It is in a great location, close to the Palace and the Alcazar in a quiet quaint square with cobblestones. Horsedrawn tourist carriages Clip Clop through the square during the day and are fun to watch from the 2 balconies while sipping wine. We had such a great time in Seville. Highly recommend this rental.
The well appointed apartment is around the corner from the Cateral and Alcazar.
Seville is a walking city with lots of restaurants and beautiful sites to visit.
The 2br/2br apartment is very large and the rooms are on the opposite ends of the apartment which provides a lot of privacy. Despite being located on a plaza , we did not hear any outside noise. There are two balconies which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Genteel was very easy to deal with and very responsive.
I gave the review 4 stars because the apartment did have a bit of a musty smell especially in the bathrooms. It didn’t bother me as much as my roommate due to her asthma issues. In the end, it turned out fine. The other issue was not Genteel’s fault. The tenets above us never seemed to sleep. They always seemed to be moving furniture at all hours of the day. It was a bit maddening. They may be short term renters which mostly likely not effect future renters. I would recommend this apartment.

Payment process was different compared to website. I paid a deposit and was advised that the other half would be paid upon arrival. I tried to prepare and make plans in advance by seeking clarification and was assured that all was in order. However, 2 days before departure, i was urgently advised that payment could not be taken from my bank details. This is because there is nowhere to store bank card details in VRBO's website. I think there are IT integration IT issues and a lack of understanding how the process works between the handover from Home and Away to VRBO. The VRBO website is struggling and wouldn't upload the messages function so both of us couldn't effectively communicate for long periods of time. This made for quite a stressful experience so close to departure along with the last minute changes , running the risk of losing the apartment due to payment deadlines being potentially missed.
The apartment check in was very rushed. A welcome pack/folder with useful information would have been beneficial. ie, taxi numbers, left luggage locations, emergency numbers, fire exit information, general house keeping, rubbish recycling if we wished to help out, sight seeing information etc. There were 2 safes are both we're out of action. The WIFI signal is very weak. It would have been beneficial to have some salt and sugar in the kitchen. Quite a few lights didn't work. Musty smell in one of the showers (near the front) and slight mould on tile joints - shower room would benefit from an extractor fan. Overall, a couple of issues with the apartment so there is definitely room for improvement and the website and communications with the property management company is quite poor. The check in person was very pleasant, but it felted rushed. The cost doesn't feel value for money balanced with the overall experience if you bear in mind the communications' experience, website performance issues, apartment offer and face to face contact points.
Located on a small, quiet plaza, this apartment is just a few minutes' walk to the cathedral and palace, and nice walk to tons of restaurants and Plaza de Espana. It's on the third floor, and there is an elevator if needed. The living room is bright and cozy, and the beds are comfortable. The only negative thing is that a few times, a sewer odor drifted up the stairway and into the apartment from downstairs.
Apt in great Seville location. Near Cathedral, Alcázar, trolly, restaurants. We had trouble finding it upon arrival, driving at night in the rain & GPS not accurate. Recommend getting explicit directions & map although taxis knew location. Highly recommend this listing.
