5th Wedding Anniversary

The Retreat is a fantastic place to stay! Everything we needed for the trip was available. The cabin was very nicely decorated, peaceful, and the scenery was great. The back yard was like an oasis with the fenced and hot tub set against the tree lined woods. We would definitely recommend this wonderful place for a much needed vacation. Thank you to the hosts for this slice of paradise.

Very Quiet and Serene

I agree with all the other great reviews, but would like to add that this charming home is tucked away plus elevated so when you sit in the screened in porch, drinking your coffee or cocktail you have a lovely view! Our two dogs LOVED the screened in porch but the hot tub / patio area since it was enclosed! There are also beautiful glass jars at each sink with hand soap/lotion or hand/dish soap. And in the shower they are full of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The owners really thought of everything! Dolly Parton attended Catons Chapel Elementary in walking distance and that was just a nice bonus to be on land where she grew up. But the quiet was my favorite part. Where we live we hear sirens occasionally, but none here. So you will sleep so deeply here. We will stay here again when in the area!

Best Stay Yet!

Me and my partner have stayed in several booking properties. This is the first one we had brought our 2 dogs. It was nice they didn't have any weight or breed restrictions which is very hard to find. This one was hands down THE BEST property we have stayed at. The owners are very accommodating and answered my 500 questions before hand with no problems. I wanted something mountain like but also modern.This property was exactly that! We arrived at night and the whole property was very lit up so we had zero problems finding the place. 10/10 would stay again! Just be prepared for large spiders (outside not inside) but beautiful none the less. If we come back to Tennessee we will mostly book here again we loved it so much. The only suggestion we have is to babygate the opening to the backyard for those with little children or puppies!

Beautifully decorated

Close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but off the beaten path. It was so quiet and secure. The host treated us to a beautiful home, the inside was decorated so pretty. They furnished everything we could have ask for. Lots of extra touches. Excited about returning.

Quite Place!

It was our first time to rent a place. It was very clean and remodeled. We did have a problem with little black spiders when we first came in on Thursday ( killed 4) didn’t say anything to owners because we didn’t want to start complaining first thing we get there. I could stay again no problem. The only thing that seemed to bother me was all the cameras, i felt like i was being watched. Only 1 bathroom was sort of a problem for family of 6. We thought it had two after looking at so many on vrbo ( that was our fault) . Enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it for sure! Thanks Phil
