Room was very clean. The outdoor pool was closed for a few hrs 1 day, no fault of the resort just fixing a leak. Play ground was closed for maintenance. This wasnt communicated to us. 😒 This was disappointing to my 3 yr old grandson.

They have a list of daily activities for the kids. We had the 2 bedroom deluxe condo, and it was perfect for our family.

The activities are well organized and scheduled. The staff was attentive. We have stayed at this property 3 times now and have stayed in multiple room types. The 2BR was great for a large group, the 1 BR deluxe with bunk area was ideal for small kids to play and that unit felt quieter with its layout. The pools are well maintained, they have swim vests for kids 2-10 who can’t swim. Small toys and balls are permitted in the pools. All of the kids and families were very friendly and the location was convenient to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Room was very clean except for the sheets and blanket for the pullout cough. The sheet had several huge holes and the blanket was dirty. Overall the room was nice but was disappointed the single bedroom did not have the private bathroom. The private bath was with the double queen bed which was the kids room.

Overall the property is great! Vast space, incredible amenities, and even daily scheduled activities for kids! Buuuuut most of the staff was highly disappointing- beginning at check in. I had completed early check in online and was met by a very rude woman at the counter snapping at me for trying to recheck in- I didn’t realize they had a small table off to the side to pick up my keys from. After getting my welcome packet she told me to go back to the front desk to ensure my room was ready and she snapped another snarky response at me. Move onto to room. It’s as good as it needed to be. Nothing over the top but more than efficient. We attempted a craft. Made it there 10 minutes from the end to be met by two ladies- sitting and chatting with one another and we were told we were too late and could only take the craft back to our room to complete independently. Days later similarly we attempted to do a tie die back pack activity, which cost an additional fee and were told we were too late and could no longer participate. Another day we came to do a craft and my four boys were asked to move from the seats they selected bc that table was “for display only” yet moments later another family arrived and sat with no issue, despite there still being several other tables to have been redirected towards as we had been. We also did gem mining during our stay- and additional $30 for a bag of dirt and when I asked for separate baggies for my four boys I was told no. Also gym was pathetic.

not a very welcoming experience.The check in was cold and not welcoming at all.Our bathroom toilet handle was completely broken off and they had to come in the next morning to fix it. Then the master king bed did not even have a mattress pad on the bed that was so saggy. The sheets a blanket were a reuse as well. NO ONE CAME AS PROMISED TO CHANGE THE BEDDING.We had to call again and then finally someone came and saw the linens and apologized and immediately at 9:30pm on the 4th day of asking tended to it. Just overall a very aggravating experience. The manager offered us $100 off and a late check out which the next day they were calling us and inquiring why we were still in our room and not check out. The activity that we were told that was taking place at 11am was changed and they never even bothered to tell guests. Us and several others were waiting at the activity center until I called them around 11:15 to inquire and then they said oops ! NOT a good way to manage the activities. The manager did feel apologetic and gave us the activity to bring home with us, though I know my daughter was till disappointed that she could not sit with the other kids to do it. Room was not as pictured, and the furniture was dated and my dresser drawer just had to stay open because the dresser was not level ( which is a tipping hazard )

Check in was 4pm and we didn’t arrive until almost 5pm and still had to wait an additional 15 minutes because the room was not ready. It seemed like that’s what they were telling everyone.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Resort at Governor’s Crossing! The location was perfect—close to everything yet still peaceful and relaxing. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Our suite was spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a true home away from home. The water parks were a huge highlight—both were clean, fun, and perfect for all ages. What really stood out was how much the resort offered for kids. There were activities scheduled from sun up to sun down, which kept them entertained the entire time. We also visited during Easter, and the holiday activities were beyond amazing—thoughtfully planned and so much fun for the whole family. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun, relaxing getaway.

The amenities were nice but when I got the room they ended up charging me for my two kids to stay additional even though I had a eight person room and there was only four people in the room me and my husband and my two kids I still had to pay for every person individual per night plus taxes on top of what I'd already paid for the room there was a dirty cleaning rags left laying on the chair when I first checked in they put me in a very small Corner Room whenever I have paid extra to get the pool view balcony it seems like every time I stay there the rooms keep getting smaller and a little more out of date and I keep getting charged more each time for less than what I'm paying for the staff was kindly rude whenever I asked why I had to pay for each individual person and I was very polite to them when asking so because they had never did that before they usually just put me my husband and my two kids on the room whenever I booked it but this time everybody was individual and ended up making me pay two different times which like I said the room was okay but it wasn't what I thought it would be I have paid less money for their nicer rooms and the more money is that you pay seems like you get there less than nicer rooms and they're just keeps being more and more catches

The ladies that checked us in went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I wish I had gotten their names. They were working with only 1 computer which caused a small back up, but they were so friendly, the wait was no problem at all. That being said, we did go to the front desk one evening to pick up s'more sticks and a different lady was working and she was not pleasant at all and in fact was extremely rude. We did love everything else about our stay and will return in the future.

Great property! Clean and fun! The only complaints are that the cheap mattress for the pullout sofa was not comfortable at all! The springs were coming through which made it very uncomfortable, and the cover on it was not clean. There were not any extra pillows or blanket for the sofa either.

The resort was very kid friendly. Only have a suggestion, the pull out bed was like sleeping on springs, better off sleeping on the floor. Those need an upgrade bad.
