This was the worst VRBO experience I have ever had. When we arrived, the front door did not work, leaving us completely locked out of the property. I contacted the host immediately, but he did not respond for more than two hours. Because he failed to communicate, VRBO had no choice but to cancel the reservation.Only after the cancellation did the host finally reply. He eventually allowed us inside, but then demanded that we Zelle him additional money, which was more than the original booking cost, in order for us to stay. This felt like extortion and was incredibly unprofessional.During the brief time we were inside, we also noticed mold in the upstairs shower, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance.This entire situation was stressful, unacceptable, and completely preventable. I strongly warn future guests to stay away from this property until the host improves communication, honesty, and basic upkeep.

Perfect

I was looking for a space that would give the grandchildren something to do without being home all the time, and some fun family time. The pool table, Jacuzzi games for the kids, were perfect to keep us busy and we had a great time. Wish the sauna had been up and running, but maybe next time. Great family spot.

Mountain cabin

Nice wood cabin. Beds were comfortable. Festive Christmas decor was nice. Maintenance needed. Many things did not work adequately and a few things were broken and run down. Spoke with owner who said he would be addressing issues promptly. Had one issue which he had fixed that day. Access to pond was difficult from the cabin

Cozy Private Cabin

Loved staying here. Everything felt cozy and inviting. Excellent communication between the host to help and organize our free ticket per day of stay. That alone saves money. I definitely would stay here again if I'm coming back to the area.

In general it was a nice property with a few issues—broken dining room chair; main level shower too hot to use( everyone used the one upstairs); broken trundle bed (top portion); parking very tight for 3 cars—pictures seemed to show more space. Otherwise everything was good

Friendscation

Overall the stay was great! We really enjoyed it. The cabin was beautiful and clean and well maintained. The property manager was on top of responding back to questions and concerns. We were a little disappointed when we got there as we thought our cabin overlooked the pond and that swimming was included in the stay at the pool. Wasn't too bad tho as it was only $5 pp and the kids had a great time. The owner paid for a day of swimming for my son's birthday which was very nice of them. We had a blast. I'd definitely rent it again if we go back to Tennessee

Thanksgiving vacation

We had a great stay! Location is not far from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Cabin had everything we needed and kids loved the game room. Will definitely book again.

Easy listing. Great find!

I was hunting a cabin for a weekend. What I found was more than I thought. Easy listing, excellent cabin! 10 min drive outside pigeon forge. Also alot to do between the cabin and the main road!

Family vacation

We decided to do an early Christmas with family. The cabin was great and had all the amenities we needed. One thing we noticed was the “water” smelt like rotten eggs..Could be the area or the plumbing. We would definitely stay again

Family Vacation

The check in and check out was very easy. Communication was also easy. There was not alot of yard space for the kids and dog but we made it work. Otherwise it was a great stay. Thank you for having us.

SMELLS OF DOG URINE AND DIRTY!

I would never stay at this cabin again! we walk in and there was a strong smell of animal urine, every time we walked in, I would light candles and spray the whole cabin with Lysol, there were no working remotes to the TVs, I had to go buy batteries, to only find out that there is no cable! you had to sign into your own account to watch on the one tv in the livingroom! Then I wake up the first morning there and go down to make coffee and my pajama pant got caught on a nail sticking out of the floor on the steps and I fell all the way down the steps! bruising both arms and hurting my shoulder! It says a non-smoking, but the toilet seat had a cigarette burn on it! the bedrooms are not private, you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other bedroom and then you have to go through a bedroom to get to the Gameroom. The cabin was very dusty, the floors were dirty, and I don't think the bedsheets were clean there was hair in 2 of the beds! I sent the owner a message and he never even ask how I was or if I'm ok, the only thing he said was Thanks for letting me know!

Great cabin for family

Our vacation was amazing. The kids enjoyed the ‘roller coaster’ ride to the cabin each day after exploring Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The beds were really comfy and made us feel like we were sleeping at home. The cabin was cozy!

Overall a great stay, great check in process was easy. The activities in the cabin was great.

Overall experience was great. Pool and mini golf close by. Having a crock pot in cabin was really nice too, most don't have them in cabins. Only thing I could add was maybe a few light dusting is all. Overall a great place and stay. Had a great time here.

Great Vacation Location!

There is so much to do in the area. We had a great time. We went hiking in the Great Smokey Mountains, went to Dollywood, rented a boat on Lake Douglas, went to downtown Gatlinburg, went horseback riding, played mini golf, and went to the community pool. It was a great time with family of all ages from 3-73. We cooked every night for dinner in the kitchen and on the charcoal grill. We even saw a black bear roam the street, our driveway, and then into the back yard. It was a perfect place for our family vacation.

Cabin fun

Even though our stay was short... we really enjoyed the cabin. Plenty of games and something to do for all. The road coming up was a bit scary and not for the faint at heart at night but at least it wasn't busy. Other than that everything else was excellent. The AC was a definite plus. And the neighborhood was nice and quiet.

Quiet, private cabin minutes from town.

Wonderful, relaxing week with family. Close to attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg but quiet and peaceful at the cabin. Good communication with owner on couple questions we had after arrival. Good value overall.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin! We had four adults and four kids and a fur baby plenty of room for everyone. The game room was a perfect pass time for the kids when the weather was being icky. Nice hot tub! Short drive to the heated indoor pool. So much fun! Great place to stay!

Boot camp family vacation

The ride there was beautiful, GPS brought us right to the cabin, we got to the cabin a little early and was able to get in. The cabin was just as rhe pictures showed, as the weekend went on we noticed we could t find a few thing that we later did but it would have been helpful to know where they were. Couldn't find extra linens, extra pillows, the utensils were sub pat, the blender was cracked we had to buy a new one, the grill we went to use it and it rusted right through and fell apart glad noone got hurt, it was dusty, and we found a dead bug on the bedroom floor upstairs. The cabin needs a few updates and tlc. Overall we made it work bought a new grill and blender. I liked the layout of the cabin and location just needs updated and deep cleaned.

Great place and location.

Overall Property was great but could use some detailed dusting and trash from previous guest below deck needs to be cleaned up , its a shame that some guest are ignorant and would treat such a beautiful area like the inner city and litter . Maybe its just me or the ignorance of the world...? Host was easy to deal with and house cozy . Thank you Tom !

Adorable cabin for a short stay

This is a adorable cabin for a family. Would not suggest friends sharing. Because of layout of bedrooms there is minimum privacy. The access roads to this area are challenging if you are not used to driving on steep roads or roller coaster drop roads going into cabin. We stayed here with my grandsons and it worked for our stay/ all had a good time .
