Breathtaking views

This was one of my family’s favorite places we have stayed. I have 5 kids from age 8 to 18 and it is always hard to please each stage of life. This place did it. It was clean, fun, and peaceful. Already looking on the calendar for next time we can make the trip and stay again.

Fantastic family getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Big Bear Cabin! The property managers were very responsive to answer questions and ensure everything was up to our satisfaction. The house is spacious and so fun for a large group- something for everyone!!

Christmas 2023 in the mountains.

We had a great stay. The cabin was decorated beautiful for Christmas, not far from town and even though we had neighbors it felt secluded. Check in was easy and the owners were available through text message for any questions we had and even checked in to make sure everything was good. Great family cabin!

Would love to visit again

The property was beautiful, still close to all the attractions but far enough away to have a quiet night. The owners/property managers were quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely return.

Amazing!

The cabin was beautiful and clean. Checking in & out was smooth & easy process. Property management team was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond. Also super polite. The view from the porch was amazing. Everything was clean & well maintained. The kids loved the pool, movie theater, games, and overall atmosphere of the property. Had a great time & lots of memories made with our family! Can't wait to go back!

Great getaway

Was to cool outside to use the pool but enjoyed sitting poolside listening to waterfall. Loved the property. Could use more garbage bags for price u pay per night. Will visit again.

Pros and cons

We did enjoy our stay! The property was great size for the amount of people we had. Couple things could improve on, the bedding wasn’t all clean, the base of one of the beds were broken felt like you were sleeping in a V. There wasn’t enough blankets, trash bags or paper towels. However we made due and we had a great time :)

Beautiful Vacation Home!

This property is beautiful and very clean! The mountain view from the house and the pool is great too! Some suggestions would be to have a few more supplies in the house, such as pot holders, more silverware in the kitchen, and tissues in the bathroom. The hot tub, and theater sound system/blu-ray set up was not working properly when we arrived, but Jeremy promptly had maintenance come and fix it. This house would also be a beautiful stay in the Fall/Winter. It offers privacy in the mountains but close drive to tourist activities in Seifverville, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. blueray sound system

Nice Stay..

Can’t beat view from house. Well stocked but things like candles didn’t have batteries, not enough trash bags etc. Couple of the boards on the deck had a little “give” and made us nervous. Pool was very nice, needed some upkeep as well tho. There is another house on the property, perhaps maintenance person resides or something. We booked a house to have privacy. It did not feel like we were alone on property. Too much $ to not have complete privacy.

Very nice place!

We enjoyed the property. It feels secluded without being secluded. We were able to get DoorDash to the home. It was a 25-ish min to town. Pool was clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with what we needed to cook. Good driveway space and the pool was a really nice size. We did have trouble with using some of the showers. The shower head was not working( or we didn’t know how to use it). We had a little trouble with using the dish washer so we hand washed( no big deal). We had a rain storm one night and the power went off and so did the water but once the power came back on, everything was fine again. We very much enjoyed it. Thank you!

Enjoyable stay, disappointing amenities

Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The manager was very good at communicating with us. Our overall impression of the home though was very underwhelming. For the price we paid, I feel the home should have been of a much higher quality. It appears they are still in the process of upgrading the home, and once the upgrades are complete, I would say that the price would be acceptable. Unfortunately, the upgrades are not complete and we were not satisfied with the home. No washer/dryer (which, in all fairness is not listed in the amenities - but for this type of home really should be available), some damages to cabinets and flooring, and a thorough lack of reasonable quality for kitchen cookery. Lots of potential for the home, but as it is, not worth the price asked.

The Pool Was the Highlight

Jeremy was a pleasure to work with: super responsive, patient with all of our questions, provided helpful sightseeing/restaurant information before our arrival. After we arrived, Joy was our contact, & she was just that: an absolute joy to work with. There were some things that needed attention during our stay & she took care of everything immediately & to our satisfaction. She was professional & friendly in her responses. She was so helpful that I wish I could have met her in person. This is a lovely property, but lacking in upkeep, especially outside. There are lots of tiles missing in the pool, and the waterfall area is overgrown with weeds. There is a large crack in the concrete that runs the length of the pool area & looks like it is sinking away from the outer edge. The grass was extremely high when we arrived. Someone did show up to cut it, but left behind all the grass that should have been raked/bagged. The landscaping was overgrown & rocks that were previously a landscaping border were knocked over & laying in the grass. Most caps to the lights on the fence posts were missing, some laying in the grass. The porch entry was filthy & covered with bird droppings. There were what looked to be live wires sticking out of the wall where a doorbell used to be. The wrap-around deck was dirty/covered with sawdust from carpenter bees, weeds growing up on it from below. Carpet inside is dirty/stained and needs replaced. Otherwise we enjoyed the property, especially the pool.

Great mountain top experience !

Great property - we enjoyed the pool daily along with theater room, and views. Kitchen was great for meals with family. We had a big group and plenty of space to spread out. Near all the attractions we wanted to go to.

Very beautiful home! Enjoyed the entire stay with the amazing views the house provided! Plenty of room for our 14 family members. Overall an amazing stay! If I were to nitpick some things would be lots of dead bugs in the house, dusty environment, and the grass was pretty tall.

Will Probably Be Back Again!

This was an amazing place stay for my group as we were looking for a place that provided us with plenty of space to spread out, but also areas that we could all hang out together. We had planned on doing a lot of sightseeing and touristy things in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas, so this location was great - there were numerous ways to get to and from the property and plenty of parking. The way the pool area is set up, you could definitely host a celebration like a wedding or birthday and have plenty of room for guests to mill about. Many of the decks are screened in which was wonderful this time of year and provided a safe haven for morning coffee out on the deck and late night star gazing. Jeremy (the host) was extremely pleasant to speak with through the website and via text message, and made our stay a breeze. The only 'con' I can think of is that the grass was a bit tall and there were several light bulbs burnt out, but those types of items didn't impact our stay or make it any less relaxing. Beautiful cabin! Would highly recommend!

Jeremy’s cabin was fantastic! We stayed with a group of friends and enjoyed all the amenities the property had to offer. The pool and hot tub were great and the theater room was awesome. Beautiful views too! Would definitely stay again.

Excellent until the Power Outage

Overall, this property is well-maintained and clean. As advertised, this property offers a range of amenities great for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. However, during our stay, there was a power outage due to a typical summer thunderstorm and unfortunately the property did not have a backup generator. This caused some inconvenience as we were without power for 12 hours and no communication with the property manager or owner. It would be beneficial for property management to consider installing a backup generator to prevent such issues in the future.
