Overall my family thought this was a very nice cabin to stay in just outside Pigeon Forge. With that said I would like to tell you more about Heaven's Garden so you can decide if this is the right cabin for you. The review is longer than most, but detailed.
* Drive up to the cabin not too steep(didn't have snow or ice)
* Has two parking spaces, but anything longer than an SUV might hang out on the road.
* Nice front porch, but just a couple of feet from the road(hardly any traffic though).
* Went after Christmas and decorations were still up which looked nice.
* Great views from back decks facing South. Only saw a couple of squirrels.
* I'm assuming smoking is allowed on the decks because we saw two pails with sand in them(one had 20 cigarette butts in it, which was overlooked during cleaning)
* Comfortable leather furniture downstairs.
* Gas fireplace is nice, but on a one hour "knob turn" timer, which makes a ticking sound as it counts down(you don't really notice it though)
* They have a Nest thermostat, which can be tricky if you don't already have one at home.
* Ice maker and water dispenser on fridge were removed(ice cube trays were available)
* Wife didn't care for the tap water taste so she used bottled water to put in coffee maker.
* Hot tub was hot(100 degrees) and ready to go when we arrived. This hot tub is shallow in the middle so you can stretch out if 1-2 people, but bent knees if more than that.
* Hot tub cycles on and off during the night(probably to maintain temperature) so you might hear it if you are a light sleeper.
* There are several creaks in the floor and some on the stairs that can be loud.
* Beds are comfortable with lots of pillows. Saw a few extra blankets. Also, there were at least two luggage racks we saw.
* Living room tv was nice and the two bedroom tvs were smaller, but worked fine. Did not use the DVD players.
* Extras included a handful of books, a puzzle that was scattered around a kitchen cabinet, and Rummikub. I would bring my own books and games.
* For such a nice cabin the bath towels are sub par. Bring your own if you like them larger and softer. Upstairs shower seems to have a stronger shower head. No hair dryers.
* No washer or dryer
* Small dish soap bottle, dishwasher pods, and some hand towels/washcloth were on site.
* Pool table was nice - did not try out the sleeper sofa
* Very close to Dollywood and Gatlinburg
