The Smoky Mountains is our favorite family vacation destination, the place we feel most at home. After 17 years of vacationing here we decided to build a cabin for our family to share with all of you! We love the peacefulness of Douglas Lake, and the easy access to so many attractions and mountain towns!

Welcome to our Alpine Escape, a cozy cabin on Douglas Lake! Sip your coffee or soak in the hot tub while enjoying serene mountain and lake views. Far enough out to be peaceful yet convenient to Great Smoky Mountains National Park (25 miles), Sevierville (downtown 12 miles), Pigeon Forge (18 miles), Dollywood (15 miles) and Gatlinburg (24 miles)! Our cabin is only 2 miles off of main highway 411, and you can get to many attractions without parkway traffic!

Inside the Alpine Escape: Relax in the cozy open living space with amazing views. Living room has a 50” smart TV. Enjoy a fully furnished kitchen for preparing meals, including a dishwasher for easy clean up. Open shelving for easy access to dishes. Drainboard sink with granite countertops, electric cooktop and oven. 1 king bedroom on the main level with a 32” smart TV, open hanging space and shelves for storage. USB outlets on each side of the king bed with floating night stands. In the bathroom you find a rain shower with tile floor and metal walls, front load washer/dryer combo, hanging rack to dry clothes, boat hooks to hang towels, and shelves/countertop for plenty of storage! Up the narrow spiral staircase is a loft open to below. In the loft there is 2 queen beds! Stepping out to the front porch for a relaxing outdoor space including a charcoal grill, 2 log chairs, 3 person swing, 4 person hot tub, and a wood burning fire pit with log stump seats. Kitchen: 4 dishwasher tabs, 1 new sponge, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 small bottle of dish soap, 2 trash bags

Lines included are: All bed linens (4 pillows on king bed, 2 pillows on each queen bed), 6 bath towels, 6 wash cloths, 1 bath floor towel, 2 hand towels, 2 kitchen towels
