「Great property」

「I wrestled with whether to leave a review or not because, although our experience at this VRBO rental was very disappointing, I don't like tearing down well-intentioned people. I hope this review serves as a counter to the impression created by the high rental price, nice pictures, and decent rating score. To summarize the issues with the rental: 1) Cleanliness, 2) Poor Maintainance, and 3) Unresponsiveness/lack of communication. Our stay was for 4 nights, and our family was eager to settle...

「Beautifully renovated unit with all amenities including your morning coffee. Private sandy beach with fire pits, bbqs picnic tables and chairs. Only downside was no view of the lake from unit, but I will definitely return.」

「Not a lakeside property, it's a bungalow house with no lake access. Property did not look like the pictures posted on the site at all. The house itself was nice in the inside with 3 small bedrooms. Did not stay there i cancelled as soon as i got thdre and realized it was not even close to what i was renting」

「Our stay at Lenny's place in Barrie was just what we were looking for. The kitchen was stoked with all needed to cook. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. Nice no fuss no muss place to spend some time, close to everything in town!」

「Had the most amazing stay. The cottage is beautiful, spacious, modern and beautifully decorated with plenty of sleeping room. It has everything you could possibly want for a fun family getaway. The lake is calm and peaceful with no motor vehicles. The views of the lake when you enter the front door, and especially from the deck are stunning. Rob the host was very helpful and responsive. We would love to come stay again.」

「It was a nice and neat quiet space that was nicer than I expected given the price. It’s location was close enough to Gravenhurst that we had no issue with getting food and supplies, and close enough to the dark sky preserve that it was convenient to stay there rather than drive all the way back to Toronto so late at night. Toronto.for a short trip.」

「The property is unclean. Very low maintenance. We had to broom the rooms and space. Rooms were too small and cramped. Outdoor entrance and walkways not maintained at all. Location is nice. Not recommending to anyone.」

「Beautiful cottage on a beautiful location. The boat house allowed us to remain shaded ( or out in the sun) so that we could watch our children enjoy the water trampoline, fish off of the dock, use the paddle board, canoe or kayaks. We had our own boat so added activities were water skiing and wake boarding. Never a dull moment! So many memories.」

「Excellent quiet location at end of bay. House faces lake with great sunlight and sufficient shade options. Open concept home with ample space for a large family. Outstanding water access via beach which is excellent for young children. Dock suitable for mooring small to mid size power boat. Bay traffic was minimal and nice for swimming. 15 minutes to Port Carling 25 minutes to Bala.」
