"Beautiful and comfortable home. The listing was a little incomplete so it was unclear exactly what we were getting but pleasantly surprised. One very confusing experience is they never mentioned an actual couple lives on-site and are the hosts. They came by when we got there and were very kind and accommodating. It just would have been helpful to know they would be there. The listing said it was entirely self check-in. "

We were expecting a kitchenette and a balcony and we didn't get either, the air con in the room was not working, the beds were slightly too hard, I asked the housekeeping staff to come back later and they proceeded to sigh and close the door. "We had a wonderful stay at Stay Oro. The bungalow was absolutely adorable, cozy, and full of character. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we really loved the unique charm of the place. The location was fantastic—close to shops, restaurants, and everything we wanted to explore. We absolutely loved the area and enjoyed being able to walk around and experience the neighborhood. A couple of things to note: the bungalow can be a little tricky to find the first time, so pay close attention to the directions provided. There are also stairs to get up to the unit, so it may be something to consider if you have difficulty with stairs. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again!"

"Casa Palmela is a truly beautiful boutique hotel and an unforgettable place to stay. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such a lovely greeting, which immediately set the tone for our visit. The service throughout our stay was absolutely perfect—warm, attentive, and thoughtful without ever feeling intrusive. There are many activities on and offsite that were very easy to arrange. The hotel itself is stunning, and our room was especially beautiful. We loved the gorgeous regional tilework, which gave the space so much character, and the amazing chandelier added an elegant touch. The complimentary bottle of local red wine and cheese board waiting for us was such a generous and memorable welcome. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wonderful buffet offering plenty of delicious options, and dinner at the hotel was excellent as well. Everything about Casa Palmela felt carefully considered, charming, and special. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refined and relaxing boutique hotel experience."
