About this property

Quiet new house with character, private heated pool

  • The Sol Sud is a new house in wood and stone. On the ground floor you find a large living room with kitchen and dining area, a bedroom (double bed 160) with sink, WC, bathroom. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with double bed (160), 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds (90) and a bedroom with bunk bed. Outside you have the swimming pool area with the swimming pool (12X5) heated from mid-May to September, a large terrace with deckchairs and the poolhouse with covered terrace (dining table 12pers) shower and WC. There is a part of the garden which is fenced for small children. Behind the house there is the garden of +/- 4000M2 or small and large can have fun! (ping pong table and trampoline) The house is built 1km from the village of Sergeac in the peace in the countryside on the path of deer, deer, ... Sergeac is in the middle of the prehistoric triangle of Sarlat-Montignac-Les Eysies. There are many caves, castles, gardens, parks, .. to visit. Beautiful region for hiking, road biking and mountain biking, fishing ... Price for a weekend or during school holidays to consult us.

Lovely

The house is great for larger groups lots of space and quiet location. We had a lovely time and the kids loved the outdoor spaces as well as the trampoline and visiting the chickens.

Le Sol Sud

Excellent property with all the amenities we could ask for including a local Auberge within a 5 minute walk. Whilst secluded the location is within reasonable travelling distance of the areas attractions, towns and transport links. All in all we had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend the property.

The property was ideal for us, three sets of adults and two sets of young children. It was very clean and spacious and along with the fantastic outdoor space, pool and table tennis table everyone had a great time. Sylvie is an exceptional host, very friendly, trusting and responsive to any requests or queries and even provided translation support during a minor emergency we had with one of the group. I would highly recommend this property.

Great Family Holiday

Great property in a lovely area. 11 family members from three generations and we all had a great time. Weather was good for the whole of our stay. Some days were too hot but the pool came to the rescue. The hosts were excellent and responded very quickly to any requests we made. The kids all loved the host's dog Nero, who came to see us occasionally and had a drink from the pool. Definitely need to have transport to stay here, but the local amenities are good and lots of places to visit. We all liked Montignac in particular. A great holiday.

Really friendly owner extremely helpful, great communication beforehand and to task was to big

Had a really nice time. Perfect size for 9 adults. The house is a lovely place to be and the surroundings are amazing. Wish we had booked longer.

Perfect property & location

What an amazing place! Very modern property, amazing outside space and large pool. The views are stunning all the way around. I'd recommend this to everyone. The location is great for days out in the area, with lots to see and do. Lovely host who is very helpful and there for anything you may need. The children absolutely loved seeing and feeding the chickens!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette villa en Dordogne.Nous étions plus d’une dizaine de personnes, avec des enfants, et le logement s’est révélé parfaitement adapté à ce type de séjour. La maison était très propre à notre arrivée, la piscine chauffée était agréable et l’ensemble des équipements fonctionnaient parfaitement. Finalement, le seul vrai point négatif de notre semaine a été la météo, qui ne nous a pas permis de profiter autant que nous l’aurions souhaité de la piscine et des extérieurs.Un point qui mérite d’être souligné : l’annonce ne met pas suffisamment en valeur certains atouts du logement. Par exemple, nous avions du mal à savoir combien il y avait de salles de bain avant notre arrivée. En réalité, il y en a deux, ainsi que trois WC séparés (un à l’étage, un au rez-de-chaussée et un dans le bâtiment annexe près de la piscine). Lorsque l’on séjourne nombreux, c’est un vrai plus et cela facilite grandement l’organisation du groupe.Autre excellente surprise : le terrain. Les photos ne rendent pas vraiment compte de sa taille. L’espace extérieur est immense, avec beaucoup de place pour jouer, courir, profiter du trampoline ou simplement laisser les enfants s’amuser en toute tranquillité. Avec la forêt à proximité, c’est un cadre idéal pour les familles.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent moment en famille. La maison est très fidèle à la description, très propre et spacieuse. La cuisine est très bien équipée, tant en terme d’ustensiles que de qualité de la vaisselle. La maison est bien décorée et très chaleureuse. C’est un environnement idéal et reposant pour des vacances en famille. Nous avons même eu droit au défilé des salamandres et grenouilles le soir autour de la piscine.

Malgré un temps pluvieux, notre séjour a été très apprécié par toute la famille (piscine, balade, jeux, visite du site Castel Merle bien adapté aux enfants)
