We’ve been a repeat guests for Sejong. Really appreciate the hotel’s cleanliness and amenities. The room was clean, even housekeeping did a good job when we requested for our bed to be made.
The only thing that didn’t change is the worker’s union protest, that seems on-going even before covid. Fortunately, they didn’t bother hotel guests but get a bit crowded when the protest at the lobby though.
Right around the corner from Myeongdong night market and shopping area. There’s also an Incheon shuttle bus that picks up 2 blocks from this hotel. The hotel itself is fair, nothing special but certainly does the trick.
The room so clean, Everyday they clean and change the bedsheet and towel. And even the toilet so clean and the staff and the room attendance was so very friendly and helpull. It's close to shopping and easy. Also safe to walking around even in the middle of the night.

Sejong is in a perfect location, right next to the metro station and markets but not ok noise. The service was very good and efficient. However, there was some mould in the bathroom and the shower didn’t work properly. There are also 24hr protests outside the hotel due to unfair dismissal, which we wish we’d known before staying.
The staff and the Room attendant are very nice and helful. The Hotel room is very clean. Everyday they clean the room and change towel and bedsheet. Easy to Shopping 10minutes only to myeongdong streer. And safe.
We had a pleasant stay at this hotel overall. The property was clean, well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was extremely convenient, and the room itself was comfortable and spacious. The only real disappointments were the lack of air conditioning and the absence of a microwave in the room. The absence of air conditioning made the evenings a little uncomfortable, and a microwave would have been useful for quick reheating food. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel provided a great experience, and I would consider staying again - especially if these amenities are added in the future.

Liked: Staff & service
Breakfast? Is it included? Nobody mentioned it when we checked in. The hotel look and smells old, lots of people outside and rallying. It doesn’t look great outside. Been to better hotels. They need to refill the soap dish, hard to push it out.
Good location. Very accessible. Close to everything - food, convenience stores, street market etc. They change towels and clean the room everyday.
The property is not the cleanest. Unjust fired employees from 4 years ago created a crowd and protesting with loud music right at the entrance of the hotel. Something sad and unexpected to see in South Korea. Rooms are cleaned every day and the property and rooms are outdated and smell old. The location is great however
Convenience above all. This hotel is really convenient in terms of location. Literally a 1-minute walk from the subway station and several more from everything else.

Disliked: Cleanliness
The location is excellent, but the bath towel was too old. I suggest replacing it with a new one.
I was satisfied with the location and the size of the room.
However, I can't say it was the best hotel I've stayed at in Seoul.
The refrigerator in the room was leaking, and the floor was wet.
Because the stay-over cleaning service was done quite late in the day, I couldn’t return to the hotel early and relax.
The front desk staff were generally unfriendly and did not provide sufficient explanations.
Also, there were people at the hotel entrance protesting what they claimed to be unfair dismissal, playing loud music, which made it impossible to get a good rest in the morning.
To be honest, it felt like no consideration was given to the inconvenience caused to staying guests.
It may be difficult for me to choose this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul.
That said, this is just my personal opinion.
The room is spacious and clean. The only problem is the bathroom. Its old and needs a TLC. The shower makes the floor flooded and the granite needs repair or replaced entirely.

Disliked: Amenities
Check out staff not friendly, the bathtub shower shoots out of the tub getting the floor wet and slippery, older hotel, but good location. Toothbrush amenity available at a charge.
It was a good stay in almost all material ways save the semi permanent protest area with chairs tables and protest signs as a result of employee firings at the main entrance. One should be aware that there may be a large protest against the hotel taking place at the one and only pedestrian entrance to the hotel on a day of your stay (as was my case).
