This isn't what you'd call a "luxury" hotel, but for our purposes it was awesome. The landlord and landlady went above and beyond in taking care of us. There were only a few guests there this week, so it was very much a "family" atmosphere there. Definitely would recommend if you're going to be in Seogwipo and want a friendly, laid-back place to crash.

Great stay
The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Speak minimal English but it was worth the effort. They are lovely and almost make up for any of the other lags.
The room was booked for two people and had a small mirror along with a mini refrigerator. It is so small that there was no room for any of our stuff, clothes or belongings. So we had to keep our things in our suitcases. If you have more luggage than two cases, see if you can get a bigger room. Otherwise, the space will be very cramped.
This is an old hotel with perhaps bathrooms constructed 15-20 years ago. At least that is what it looked like. Our bathroom had a bathtub for one person. There was construction happening throughout our 10-day stay so just be mindful of that. A lot of noise - thankfully it ended in the evening so didn't end up interrupting through our sleep.
The breakfast was a fried egg, dinner roll and some fruit. We had to ask for sugar every day because we like to have tea towards the evening as well. We ended up buying our own sugar, paper cups, and milk because we just didn't want to keep asking for sugar every day. I actually thought it would be provided with the electric kettle - as is the case with all the other places I traveled in the past.
The Airport Limousine stops nearby. For ₩5500, you can get from the airport to the hotel which is in the middle of the food street. Almost every restaurant sells Black Pork. There are markets around for those who want to explore.
For travellers who are travelling by public transportation (mainly bus), Mimong is very strategically located to the Airport Limo 600 bus stop: New Kyungnam Hotel. The bus has English announcements for the bus stop so do not worry about missing the stop.
For travel to other key attractions around the island, it is also a short walk to the Seogwipo old bus terminal to catch Bus 201. For taxi rides into Jeju City, it should cost no more than KRW40,000.
Daily breakfast is served - feels homely and I'm all fired up to start my daily adventures in Jeju. The hotel is well situated in Arang Jeul Food Street - there are plenty of restaurant options to choose from. Local convenience stores GS25, CU and 7 eleven can be easily found in the surroundings. Or check out NH Mart, for slightly cheaper prices on local foodstuff. Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market (opens from 7am till 9pm) which is less than 5 mins walk away is also a good place to find delicious street food/snacks, hallabong fruits, souvenirs, seafood, etc.
Room comes basic facilities; happy with the clean and comfortable bed equipped with a mattress heater (but we never needed to use it). We are fine with the limited space which is sufficient to have one big luggage and another hand-carry sized baggage placed on the floor for easy retrieval of our stuffs.
Overall, our stay at this hotel was really well worth it for the price paid. Their hospitality alone is a winner!
