Beautiful observation deck, you are sharing with 3 other apartments but we were lucky and had it to ourselves that night. Great use of space, lots of outlets, small but effective and well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, very nice bathroom with good space. We loved our night here!

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable, warm, and spotless. We wish we could have stayed longer. We appreciated the place even more after looking through at the photo book in the top of the tower and learning the construction was a labor of love and completed over several years by the family that owns it.

This was THE best stay we’ve had in Iceland. Exactly as described and shown in photos. Beautiful property, easy to get to, well equipped and beautiful room. We watched sunset & sunrise from the top floor, amazing views! Would definitely stay here again if we return to Iceland.

This place was very unique and setup nicely for the space provided. We like being away from the bustle of other travellers most of all. Lots of neat sights to see fairly close to the property. Would recommend!!

Really interesting lodging! Beautuful viewing tower for seeing surnise, sunset, and northern lights. I would have preferred a more robust door to separate the bathroom from the rest of the room but great otherwise. Really nice lighting and use of the space. Only 15 minutes drive from Secret Lagoon!

This was the last night in Iceland after camper vanning it all week. And, i must say it was an experience. The drive there, the surrounding area, and the beautiful view from the top was phenomenal! The room was very clean and modern feeling. I felt like a James Bond villian in my tower. We got lucky and were the only people there, so we had the tower to ourselves. I highly recommend this stay for a unique night with amazing views!!

We loved our stay here. We rented 3 of the 4 rooms and had the top area to ourselves. This was perfect for us to get together and - on the first night - see the Northern Lights ! The property is pretty unique. All the rooms were well heated and surprisingly well equipped kitchen wise given the space available.

Warm, Comfortable, and Enjoyable Stay

Really enjoyed my stay here. It's exactly as it is in the photos. Visually it's really nice and great for photos. The room was quite spacious, well laid out, and very warm and comfortable. The top floor has an observation deck which allows you to have a 360 view of the surrounding area.

Highly recommend!

Staying in the tower was so unique and fun. The room was just right with just enough supplies to enjoy a hot plate dinner and glass of wine. We also were happy to have coffee for the morning. The observation area was phenomenal and allowed us to see the northern lights in the warmth of the tower.

Solstice anniversary stay

This property is amazing and the host was great. An incredible use of what may have been an old grain tower as accommodations, one room per floor. It's silent and the top floor is a panoramic view of the landscape. Feels remote but is quick to Flúðir for dinner. A beautiful spot to wake up in the snow!

Super cool experience. Room was in great condition. Just a note, you need to walk up the stairs, and depending on which room you have, it might be a hike when carrying luggage. It is also loud when people go up and down the stairs with luggage. But over all- such a cool location and experience!

Very unique accommodation for our second night in Iceland. We had the top unit which was nice. The top door panoramic lounge area was really nice in the evening and for breakfast. The communication was not great but I called the phone number provided and they were able to share the necessary information.

I really wanted to love this property, but it just was not as advertised or as I expected. The listing makes it seem like you have the place to yourself, but there are 5 total apartments in the tower and a shared space up top (the photos with the great views are shared space, not private space). This may have been fine, but the noise was severe. It’s metal stairs outside so you can hear every single person coming and going, and hear all footsteps of the people above you. It was so extremely noisy I was having to wear ear plugs and play music to drown it out. For what I thought was an expensive, luxury stay, it ended up not being that at all. The place is really cool and a great location, and the room itself was fine and cute, but the noise and shared space makes it a spot I would not recommend.
