Nestled in a tranquil location, Oakwood Lodge provides the perfect escape from day to day life and the ideal couples retreat.

Imagine the ultimate relaxation, in a luxurious hot tub, watching your favourite movies on the projector screen, overlooking the stunning lake setting…

Entering the lodge, you will see it consists of a large open plan living, kitchen and dining space, a separate toilet and a master bedroom suite.

The kitchen area is well equipped for a guest to cook a basic meal, with all the electrical appliances you should need including a dishwasher, oven and hob, kettle, toaster and an air fryer. Following on from the kitchen is a dining table to comfortably seat 2 people. Offering the option to dine in, or dine out at one of the delicious local restaurants.

The living space provides a comfortable sofa overlooking the large flat screen Tv.

Heading into the master bedroom, you will see a king size bed with a feature padded headboard, a contained walk in shower cubicle and a free standing bath.
Clothes storage and a hanging rail, alongside a small dressing table and mirror can also be found in the bedroom for your use.

The stunning outside area offers a spacious patio area, overlooking the lake. With a small outdoor bistro dining set for 2, a comfortable L shaped rattan sofa and a luxury 4 seater hot tub with a built in bar space and stools. You will also find a large projector screen above the hot tub, where you can hook your phone up and watch all of your favourite shows.

The lodge park itself offers a peaceful and scenic setting to base your stay. The surrounding area offers a number of delicious restaurants, alongside being just a 15 minute drive away from York's Designer Shopping outlet and just a 25 minute drive away from the historic City of York.
The perfect find for a relaxing break away from reality, close enough to explore the surrounding area and cities, yet comfortable enough to hideaway from the world in your luxury retreat.

Dead spider next to dresser table, old stain on bedding cover, cob webs on seating tables outside, leaves swept under the outside sofa cover and dirty sofa under the cover. Could be cleaned a lot more professionally Not hot tub instructions in regards to when the tube gets cold as we tried the second night and it was too cold to stay in. Would be nice to have instructions to re heat. Overall the stay was really nice and I would definitely re visit!
