"We had a lovely week at Ulivo Blu. Having had issues with our flight, we were extremely late arriving, but one of our hosts took the time to send us videos of exactly how to access the place and collect our keys - so helpful. The accommodation was clean and simple, but had everything we needed, including a huge - and very comfortable - bed and, most importantly, working aircon in all rooms. Probably THE highlight though was the pool - it's very well kept, with lovely clean water and what a gorgeous backdrop! The only small issue we had was that the sink in the kitchen was unusable due to a serious leak in the u-bend. Staff came to try and fix it, but a plumber was needed and, this being on Sicilian time, no plumber arrived during our week-long stay. No big deal though, as we just used a bathroom sink (there were 2 to choose from) for washing up.Overall I'd say that Ulivo Blu is a really lovely place to stay. It has a very laid back air of somewhere that had maybe seen better days, but it is still well kept and is well away from the bustle of busier places while still being very well situated for getting around northwest Sicily. Would we go back? Yes, in a heartbeat!"
