Great place for family

This was a wonderful place for a visit with grandchildren. Heron House was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, as well as a perfect lakefront location! I will definitely plan to stay at Heron House again for my annual “Camp Grandma” visits.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a lovely stay at this home. The kids loved having access to the paddle board and canoe. We enjoyed meals on the deck and the fire pit at night. It was very quiet and the lake was calm. Would definitely stay again!

Nice home on Clear Lake for a family or friends getaway. Fairly secluded yet not far from anything. The house was very clean and surprisingly open with a great room feel. Hosts are great and check in is easy.

Cozy cottage

Our stay was wonderful. The hosts provided all the amenities you could need and even welcomed us with a bottle of wine and delicious chocolates. There is a fabulous fire pit with many lawn chairs. The deck is huge and the view gorgeous. We would definitely choose it again!

What A Lovely Retreat!

The house is absolutely adorable and very clean. It’s decorated really nice as well. The backyard is a huge bonus- being able to either roast marshmallows, take the canoe on the water or just relax and fish on the dock were our favorite parts! The owner is kind and responsive; another bonus. I would definitely recommend renting this house- you will be very happy you did!

Beautiful Home on the Lake

Perfect place to stay when visiting the Skagit Valley for the Tulip Festival with friends. It's also a short drive to the ocean and ferries. This home has an open floor plan with three good size bedrooms and two bathrooms. Clean and well-decorated with a peaceful lake view. Highly recommend.

Heron house in August

Close to everything : cascades, Anacortes, Bellingham, Sedro-Woolley, Vancouver. House comfortable and deck and dock relaxing. easy to use BBQ. Make sure to unplug the coffee maker it does not turn itself off. Would stay again and highly recommend!

Very quiet and peaceful. The Averio health institute is within walking distance. The kids had a ton of fun playing in the yard, the view is beatiful. The host went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The kids forgot their backpacks with their homework and school books. The host found them, and let us come back the next day and oened up the house so we could collect them.

Comfortable and Cozy

We were in the area to do some bird photography, so were out of the house during most of the daylight hours. The location on the lake was very serene, and even in the rainy weather, the windows out onto the lake provided a beautiful view. The house was clean, comfortable, and a great location for exploring many areas of Skagit and Whatcom Counties. We did not do a lot of cooking, but the kitchen seemed to be well-stocked with pots, pans, and utensils. The carport was a bonus during the rainy weather to load and unload our gear and stay dry. The internet was strong. I would definitely stay here again when in this area.
