This is hardly modern. It is old, it’s been remodeled to look better. The roof leaks and is dripping down into the cabin.
However the management is responsive if you do have issues with the room. The living room tv never worked. No stove top or oven. But they had plug in counter top appliances like a toaster oven, or griddle. It was disappointing for me.
Unfortunately, we were unable to make our reservation due to closed roads and weather. We hope to make it back to see the area at some point and would book again.

Was not made aware this property has a boil water after requirement currently, due to contamination in spring water. Couldn’t wash hands, shower, cook/clean. Huge problem for us, and we didn’t bring hand sanitizer, so it was frustrating! Also, tvs, but only black screens. Wi-Fi is
Limited, and doesn’t allow streaming.
Bed was comfortable. Property was clean.

This property was nothing as described. First of all you have to go across the street to enter the creek area and the street is busy. You can’t see around the edges to see if cars are coming because it curves with the mountain line. Very misleading as a private entrance to Oak Creek Canyon. There is no lush 2.5 acres. There is a turf area the size of a medium backyard with one fake fountain man-made. Three really sorry worn picnic tables, spiderwebs everywhere, a dilapidated fence and dead foliage. The room was nice. Until my toilet broke and they decided to transfer me to the room next-door, which was not nice and it stunk. Not to mention that, but they locked me out of my cabin as I was transferring my stuff over and I was locked out from my phone, my purse, my things, and my dog. there was only one other person staying there at the time no one was around, so I basically sat out front crying until thank God someone showed up that could let me in. This happened to be a maintenance man that was coming to fix the toilet that broke about a half an hour to 40 minutes after I called them. Do not recommend especially if you have kids. Again you would have to drive them out of that area to a safe side of the street to go down to the creek bed. I was told five times the manager would call me back to the lockout. No one has called me back and it’s been two days. Do not stay here.

Not a great experience
The property looks like it was refurbished, so relatively nice inside, but then not taken care of. There was trash embedded in the ivy in front of our place that looked like it had been there quite a while. There was a random vending machine sitting on the sidewalk in front of the place for the duration of the stay. The unit was missing items - only one proper sized dinner fork (and 3 tiny forks), one wine glass, etc. The coffee maker had the wrong sized pot so it overflowed when you made coffee. The fireplace in the unit did not work. The gas fireplace outside for communal use did not work. The site online advertises Wifi, but it turns out it is so weak that it is only good for the most basic use. I'm fine with that if the advertisement is up front, but it was not and when I needed to take an urgent video call, the system could not handle. Although Oak Creek canyon is incredibly beautiful and the location was very nice, 0verall I was disappointed with this stay.
Comfortable and clean. Not as private as I would like - right off the road and other guests walk right past your windows to get to their room. Waterfall feature pretty and relaxing.
This site was grand in most respects. When you drive up the condition of the stairs and walkway make you question your choice. Once you enter it is clean and well appointed. Operating the hvac was a bit challenging. From the rental information I thought we would have a patio. That feature was only available to some units. We didn’t miss it anyways. All in all we enjoyed our visit and slept soundly there.
For anyone who loves their stays to be more remote yet perfectly located this place is it. Far enough out of town, yet close enough to any adventure. Extended a day twice. Property manager easy to reach and very friendly to talk to. Room was a perfect night time resting place. Beautiful surroundings just outside your door. I will definitely be coming back!
These beautifully designed cabins were absolutely perfect for our family get away. We were able to have the teens in their own cabin, adults in their own and family with toddlers in another. Everybody was happy. The toddlers loved the "backyard"(grassy area) and the teens were able to walk to hiking. The creek across the street is so peaceful and relaxing. The cabins are stylish and comfortable. The kitchen is great for meal prep. The location is wow! Enjoyed beautiful view of hills and cliffs out my window with my morning coffee. 1/2 mile to slide rock and little bit further for West Fork. Quick drive to Indian Hills Market for breakfast or lunch. Quick drive to town. We are a very happy family and we can't wait to come back!
Headboard was repurposed with the original 1959 door of the cabin! Only sheets, no blankets, no bath soap, and toilet paper roll was not properly presented (should be cornered) I only mention this so your housekeeper can learn this)
First, we booked this stay for our baby moon and Oak Creek has always been a favourite place of ours. I tried multiple times to communicate with the property since booking in MAY to hopefully get an earlier check in time due to maternity pictures we had scheduled. Not only was the request ignored multiple times, when they finally responded to ask day before or day of I understood and asked again multiple times without being responded too. I was really disappointed. Next, I couldn't even tell you how many spiders I killed in our room. I must have been bit between those and mosquitos at least 20 times. My legs and arms are swollen from the bites. It was not ideal being pregnant, never mind how squeaky our bed was & uncomfortable as well. I was extremely upset after dealing with so many bug bites we ended up leaving super early in the morning and didn't even do anything on our final day there because of how itchy & annoyed we were with our stay. As beautiful as the rooms look and the small area to sit outside was on the property, we won't be back and honestly wouldn't recommend. I am really unhappy that we choose to stay here and not somewhere else for our baby moon. From the jump it was a bad experience with communication from the staff and that should have spoke volumes to me in the beginning. I regret not having canceled this sooner.

Other than the two cabins we rented all had patios. We were charged the same as the cabin that had multiple sleeping and the cabins that had the patios. I feel that was misleading and deceptive as we were never told that our cabins #3 & 4 did not have patios. We believed as the advertising implied there were patios for all cabins. Otherwise perfect. Grounds were beautiful. Cabins were clean and inviting.
Cozy little spot about 10 minutes north of the ‘Sedona strip’. Pros: clean, comfy, nice patio, great views, oak creek access. Cons: poor WiFi and cell service, no Uber, have to do dishes and take out garbage before you leave
