Great VRBO in Sebastian

We really enjoyed our stay Mel Fisher Museum cottage.Very comfortable, well maintained, nicely furnished and very clean with well functioning appliances, and responsive hosts. I liked that kayaks and a bicycle were provided ( Didnt get to use the kayaks but did get to bicycle along the Indian River). Not an exterior with 'curb appeal', but a location with restaurants bars and the river right there, that can't be beat.

Great stay in Sebastian

Every thing about this stay was top notch. Such a pleasant, clean place to stay with so many things to do close by. Many great restaurants, parks, fishing and of course the Mel Fisher museum were awesome. It could not have been better.

Sunshine Getaway

It feels like home. This is our 3rd year staying here and it feels like our home away. In fact I booked it for next year. The new porch is a nice addition and the amenities are so thoughtful.

Holiday in Sebastian

We have stayed here before and feel at home here. Nicole provides everything that is needed for a stay here.since we were here for 4 days and like to cook our meals one or two more pots would be ideal. And perhaps a dish pan as there is no dish washer. Otherwise very comfortable here😀

Fishing retreat

The rental was great. It had everything we needed. And it was decorated nicely. The only recommendation I have is that the bathroom could use 2 bath towel bars.

Great location, great host.

Good value, great location. Great stackable washer/dryer. Host very attentive. Could use deep cleaning, new mattress, a really comfortable chair, some new cooking utensils. Kayaks are very good quality.

Beautifully managed!

We had a lot of fun staying at this property! It’s located in a great spot, central to many great restaurants and of course the museum. It’s a nice drive over to the island and all of the beaches and state park too. The bungalow was so cozy and sweet and was nicely equipped with anything you might need for cooking, relaxing, beach going or even biking. Nichole was amazing and friendly very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to come back at a better time of year for treasure hunting. 😉

Love Sebastian

Cottage at Mel Fishers is great, kitchen is spacious, bed is comfy, couch eh not so much. Overall you will love this place and close proximity to restaurants, bars, grocery stores, Rx and bait and tackle shops. The boat ramp is right across the street and well equipped with good amount of parking and restroom facilities. Nicole is a sweetheart and very responsive to any needs you may have. Have stayed here twice and won’t be the last.

we were not in the unit for any long length of time during the day

The feeling of security would be greater if there were curtains on the bedroom windows. Not only would it inspire privacy but also shield some of the light that comes in from all the streetlamps and possibly decreasing the volume of the sirens rolling along the main drag out in front of the museum. The hot water wasn't very hot and the bathroom sink could not be unplugged no matter how hot (added boiling) the water was going down that drain.

Location, location, location!

Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The bungalow was perfect in every way. Everything you needed was right here. You can walk for miles along the river , fish off the pier, eat at one of the many restaurants within walking distance, have a few cocktails or just relax. Your host Nicole is the best!

Taking a break,,,

We stayed here over the holidays to take a break. It was exactly as described. The location was perfect for sunrises with coffee and sunsets with cocktails. Loved it and will definitely be back.

Perfect location

Very clean and comfortable. The apartment has everything you need. Great location, close to our relatives but also close to many bars and restaurants. From now on, anytime we visit my parents, we will stay here.

Location Location Location !

Ideal, and I mean ideal, location to everything in Sebastian, many fun establishments are within walking distance. Large open kitchen/living room combo great. Bedroom size very good, good closet, dresser. Private back porch is exactly that, private. Bathroom is a little tight, no flat surfaces around sink area to set items on. Might I suggest a narrow shelving unit between the two doors, under the window. A few more towels bars would be handy as well. Kitchen thoughtfully stocked. Lawn chairs, beach towels, bicycles were a very nice plus. EVERYTHING worked; AC, appliances, hot water, lights. Mattress & bedding good. The pullout sofa is honestly very comfy to sleep the whole night on. Paved flat parking right up to entrance door. Is located on same property as the Mel Fisher's Treasure Museum which means it is a VERY safe place to stay. Last but not least Nichole is the perfect hostess. She's always available if you need anything but not intrusive at all. We liked staying there so much, I'm going to book it again right now for August. Side note...best restaurant in town is right next door; Mo-Bay's.

Perfect place for this Ky. Couple

We enjoyed our time in Sebastian. Your Bungalow was just as advertised. We spent our time on the riverfront and fishing the inlet. We didn’t get to meet you but plan to return in the next few months. Especially enjoyed the Mo-Bay Grill. Bungalow was well stocked, very clean and location perfect. Thank you!

Great Sebastian get away!

Very nice well thought out rental. We had wonderful stay. Nicole thought of everything we would need. Bicycles, beach chairs, all the kitchen and laundry supplies. Cottage is perfect location you can find great food and great views in a short walk. Bed and bedding was very nice. AC kept us cool in some warm temps. I just can't say enough nice things about our stay. We plan on another stay in early fall. Michael D.

OUR GET A WAY

Unit was clean and comfortable and well decorated.....noise level from motorcycles was higher than expected----but we adapted to it. Unit was close to everything and for walking, biking or sitting on the pier was very good. Lots of good restaurants beach bars, and good music . We would consider another visit in the future as the whole process was easy and reliable..
