Waterfront Beach Cottage on Puget Sound /West Seattle
Private West Seattle cottage set directly on Puget Sound with sweeping Olympic Mountain views, beach access from the backyard, and a one-of-a-kind globe sunroom. Available exclusively (June–July) while I’m out of town. Flexible on dates and length of stay (30+ days per Seattle regulations for waterfront property).
Watch the sun set behind the Olympics from your deck with the fire table lit and the Sound just below. It’s a rare, front-row seat to one of Seattle’s most iconic views.
Located in a quiet neighborhood near the Fauntleroy Ferry, the home feels tucked away yet is less than 20 minutes from Lumen Field. Close enough for match days, far enough to come home to calm and privacy.
About 1,200 square feet with two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), a fully equipped cook’s kitchen, dining room, living room, and a dedicated office. The standout is a glassed-in sunroom wrapped in vintage globes, looking straight out over Puget Sound. It’s the kind of space that stops people mid-sentence.
The living room is warm and layered with global textiles and collected art, with a large TV and comfortable seating. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked for anyone who enjoys cooking.
Outside, a bulkhead deck offers direct beach access, a fire table, and wide-open views of the Olympics, Vashon Island, and the ferry crossing. Sunsets here are exceptional. Kayaks and paddleboards are available for guest use, with easy access to the water right from the property.
Walk along the shoreline to Lincoln Park at low tide. Nearby, grab coffee at the Junction, explore Alki Beach, or take the Fauntleroy Ferry to Vashon Island for a day trip. The neighborhood is friendly, walkable, and genuinely community-oriented.
This is a peaceful beach setting. Gatherings are welcome, but please keep it respectful of neighbors. The home comfortably sleeps up to 6, though bookings are limited to a maximum of 4 guests. One driveway parking space is included, with additional street parking available.
NOTE: One housemate comes with the property: Pinto Bean, a very self-sufficient 15-year-old cat who spends time indoors and out. He just needs feeding twice a day—once when you wake up and once before you go to sleep.
