"This is one of my favourite hotels. It’s absolutely beautiful and all the rooms are done to a 5* standard. The breakfasts are amazing as well. Thank you Michael for another lovely stay. "
"Hotel in an excellent location for coastal and woodland walking with a regular bus service to other holiday locations nearby. Friendly staff provided a great service in the bar and restaurant which had a varied menu. We intend returning to this location. "
"Excellent location, easy to find. Quiet, safe, good restaurant. Excellent "base of operations" for the Newcastle area with quick and easy access to the excellent Newcastle international airport."
"Fantastic stay. Stayed for a wedding. Staff really welcoming and friendly throughout. Slightly difficult to find our room, but was lovely when we got into it. We struggled to keep the room cool, but we loved the big bed and huge bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic too. Scenery amazing. Would definitely stay again"

"The owner was so friendly and ready to help if required. They had gluten free breakfast options which is rare! And couldn’t do enough for me. The room was beyond expectations and bed very comfy. "

10/10 Excellent
"The property was great loved the location plenty of walking areas for my dog near the train station so a quick commute into Newcastle plenty of places to shop near the beach we had a great time at this property I would happily recommend booking here a big thank you to Anne "
"The hotel is in a good location for both beach and town centre. Then staff were all lovely and very helpful and friendly.
The room was very spacious. Lovely bathroom. Plenty of storage. But the carpets hadseen better days.
The window only opened a few inches, which I understand, for safety reasons. But it's was extremely hot in the room. During the week it was fairly quiet except for the seagulls, but I love hearing seagulls when on holiday, so I personally didn't mind. You can't have a seaside break without seagulls can you?Unfortunately on the Friday the club across the street was open so you had loud music and people shouting etc until they early hours. I assume it's also open Saturdays. Such a shame. "
"This was my first time staying at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park but it certainly won't be my last. Lovely hotel, excellent gym / pool / spa facilities, plentiful parking, lovely food and drinks, lovely staff, lovely room with a huge window for lots of natural light. Highly recommended."
"I spent one night whilst visiting a friend and the hotel was absolutely ideal. Fantastic location on the beach front. All of the staff were friendly, the room was a decent size and very clean. Bathroom was also a good size with a powerful shower and extremely clean. It's a touch on the old side and is currently being renovated but honestly for the price it exceeded all expectations. The breakfast is genuinely superb as a particular highlight. "
"Staff are helpful and accommodating. My wife's gluten-free diet means it is sometimes awkward to get meals in some places. They sorted it out for us."

2/10 Terrible
"Absolutely terrible experience couldn’t even get in to the property so had to travel all the way back to Manchester , spoke to a neighbour across the road and he took my number to contact me if the host comes along , I emailed him/her to call me but they didn’t back to to me "
