Seaside charm where the ocean is your front yard!


Please note: From June 15th until September 15th, we only rent by the week from Saturday to Saturday. The rest of the year we have a two-night minimum, except three-day weekends where the minimum is three nights.

Our home sits right on the Promenade in Seaside Oregon and has unobstructed panoramic views of the ocean out five large picture windows on the front of the house. Enjoy whale watching, the surfers and the vacationers walking on the Prom. The deck in the front makes it very enjoyable to sit and sunbathe or read while enjoying the beautiful ocean views.

The house has been totally remodeled with granite and marble counter tops throughout, tiled floors in some areas and hardwoods in others. The remodeling of the bathrooms even includes heated floors. We did however maintain the cozy warm feeling that a river rock fireplace at the beach brings, especially when it's stormy.

Description of bedrooms/bathrooms: On the main floor, there are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twins. There is one full bathroom on the main floor (tub and shower). On the upper floor, there is a large family room with a queen bed, a twin bed and a trundle bed (containing two twins). Also on the upper floor, there is a master bedroom with a queen bed and another bedroom with one twin bed. There is a full bathroom on the upper floor (shower only). The basement has no bedrooms but has a half bathroom.

In May of 2019 we remodeled the top floor of the house to accommodate a more open concept and make it a kid friendly environment. With bean bag chairs for watching movies and a 50" HDTV with a dvd player, the kids will have a ball. We also made some major modifications to the "Man Cave" and the utility room. In the "Cave" there is a 50" HDTV and a nice warm gas fireplace so the sports enthusiasts can enjoy their games in a retro-bar and then take a nap. There is also a foosball table. And there are dvd players on every floor so you can watch movies, as well as a couple of vhs players for old movies you might bring. The house is also wired, throughout the inside, so you can enjoy your music on the top floor and main floor.

The kitchen has seating at the table for at least 10-12 for those family reunions or larger groups. We also provide a high chair for the little ones.

The Perfect Spot

This house is picture perfect and the best place for a week long family reunion. Spacious and charming. We felt at home immediately and the kitchen easily accommodated the 10 of us. The unobstructed view from the armchair in the living room is stunning; a sea of grass, the ocean, and the sky. Also the views from the upstairs bedrooms are equally amazing. Communication with the host was welcoming and thorough. Honestly I can't imagine any place better.

Fam Beach Vaca

The house was great. Had a week at the beach with my family and my parents. The house had everything we needed and plenty of room to spread out. Views from the house were gorgeous! This was only matched by the direct path access to the beach! Close enough to the main down town but far enough that the beach felt private. Loved every minute!!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and all the amenities. Right on the Promenade and steps from the beach. Check in was a breeze. Plenty of room for all of us. The weather didn't cooperate, which is normal for this time of the year, but we had such a great time hanging out together and this is a great place for that. Thank you to the hosts!

Wonderful Mother’s Day weekend!

We rented the house to enjoy Mother’s Day weekend with family and friends and had a blast! We will definitely be back. The beach is right outside the front door. There were enough rooms for everyone. The different levels allowed the kids to have areas to be in while adults could be in the kitchen. Everything was accurate. Easy check in and check out with great access to cooking supplies. Gorgeous views, tons of fun, fantastic hosts

We give this house 5 stars. Maybe others would complain because the fridge was glitchy when we arrived (since replaced). The hosts were upfront with the challenged and very concerned for our needs. It all worked out. Excellent communications and problem solving. The beds were comfy, the towels were plentiful, the games were many, varied and fun. Plenty of parking, etc, etc, etc.. we would stay again in a heartbeat. I bet during storm season the views are even more spectacular. And such a nice easy stroll to the beach!

New Years gathering

Well stocked kitchen, plenty of bathroom towels, three roomy gathering spaces, plenty of parking (we had five cars at times), excellent location, lots of things to do, near restaurants. We were a family group ages 4 through 78 & everyone had a great time.

First Oregon Coast Visit

Great place to stay and enjoy all the area’s natural beauty! We had plenty of room to spread out, beds were comfy, and the kitchen was well stocked. Loved the short walk to the beach, sound of crashing waves by which to fall asleep, and the quaint downtown to explore. Plenty of fun for all ages!

Lovely long weekend

Love this property. Its location on the prom was fun for people watching, close walk to the beach, comfortable setting. The amenities provided were excellent (comfortable beds, nice furnishings, kitchen well stocked with all we needed). Would highly recommend this property.

This house was great for our group of eight. Large comfortable kitchen, huge dining table, cozy living room with gas fireplace, great yard for lawn games or just relaxing in the sun. We really appreciated the early check-in and late check-out!

Fun family getaway

Very comfortable house, great location-walk to beach and fun kid stuff in Seaside. Tricky sleeping arrangements if you have 5 couples...one bedroom has a twin bed and barely room for a cot on the floor. But the couch works. Great kitchen/dining area for cooking and visiting at the same time.

Great Oceanfront House

This place is right on the ocean front, and just a bit of a walk from the main drag. House is charming and there are just tons of beds and sleeping options throughout. It's well stocked with games and such, and is a couple blocks away from The Osprey Cafe which is a fantastic restaurant. I would totally stay here again.

Perfect family beach retreat!

This property was perfect for our family! The ocean views and location/proximity to the beach, restaurants, shopping, and in-town activities couldn't be better. Marcie was great with communication...there were some outside repairs that needed to be done, and she was clear about what and when to expect it -- easy! This is an older home with well-done upgrades (love the heated bathroom floor!), while maintaining all the character and charm!

Location Location Location..

Seaside vacation

We enjoyed this beautiful home on the quieter end of the Promenade. The views are great and we appreciated the easy walk to the beach. All of our sons weren't able to join us, but my nieces and children popped in and spent a night each. The home is comfortable, with plenty of beds. It was a fun house for hide and seek and the beach toys and kites added to the fun at the beach.

Nailed it

I was hesitant to leave such a good review. Only because we want to rent this property again and don’t want any competition! The location was perfect, the space was perfect, the kitchen amenities also perfect. The beach is steps away, wonderful walking on the promenade just through the front gate, and top notch people watching from the deck. Clean, comfortable, lots of parking, ipdated

We enjoyed our stay at The Prom House. Seven adults stayed at the house and four others visited with us from lunch thru dinner. There was room for all of us to visit around the large table or in the living room. The beds were comfortable, ample towels were provided (including beach towels which we didnt need), the kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements and appliances. The view of the beach and sunset is wonderful. The house and patio are great for people-watching too. The bathrooms are nicely updated with heated floors. The living room is homey and comfortable with a nice gas fireplace.
