We were in route to this location when I received a text from the host. They said that it was damaged and that we would be unable to stay there. They offered us a different house instead they said this other house was also marked 25% more but that there would be no up charges since it was last minute. Fine we were already almost there so what could we do. We got there and the place was nice, but nowhere better then the place we choose. Yes it had enough beds and was a cute home but that was it. 5 bedroom, 7 beds. One little TV over a fireplace that hasn’t been cleaned in years so there’s a sign that says not to light or it will smoke. Wow, so now we have 3 kids and 4 adults stuck with one TV that hardly works because the Wi-Fi kept dropping. But we got over it and dealt with it. Then comes check out time. I asked if we could leave at noon instead or 10. We were traveling with elderly and one of my kids was special needs. The host wanted to charge me $200 per hour? I thought it was a joke I asked them for a better price and they said $100 per hour. Again that was not cool. Then they insulted me and tried to say I tried to get away with not paying for my pet. I was the one that told them we were bringing our MinPin. I didn’t see any options when booking for pet only children. They insulted me again and threatened that a “cleaning crew would be at the house at 945 and if we left one minute over 10 they would charge us full price. So yeah hostile host who like to scam guest
