「Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.」

「I have to give them a one star rating just because I think I have to put a star. The host or the front desk, people were awesome. The room was horrible! Because the traffic noise from the road to Acadia made sleeping unbearable. The electrical switches outlet and smoke detector did not work and there was not daily housekeeping service. I am at the point of recouping my money because of the horrible noise that kept me up all morning and when I say morning, three and four in the morning. 」

「The property was wonderful. We had a campfire…so much fun. The house was well equipped and Michelle got back to me when I had questions. The jetted tub was a huge hit with my grandkids. We knew ahead of time that the pool was set at 82 degrees. My family would have used it more if the water was warmer. We would have been willing to pay more for a warmer pool. 「Lovely, fresh, and cozy place. Loved the hot tub, the deck was beautiful and I wish we had time to use the nice fire pit surrounded by the trees. Beds were comfortable and showers great. The TV is quite high and due to space the couches are not set back enough. I’m not sure with the space if you could improve it much. We got used to it. It was a great place to unwind after exploring the park and the lighthouse and seawall are just around the corner.」
