「We had a an excellent one night stay. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. My husband’s daughter has a severe mustard and nut allergy and the staff were excellent in ensuring she was aware of the dishes that contained these ingredients. The meal in the evening was excellent as was the breakfast. All the staff we came into contact with in the bar, restaurant and reception were friendly and efficient. We would all definitely stay at The Olde Ship Inn again.」

Ellen looked after us really well and couldn’t do enough for us. As for the breakfast - superb! Great choices and didn’t need lunch! 」

「It was amazing, the garden rooms are a hidden gem! The design of the room and bathroom were beautiful huge room. The hot tub was a great added touch! I was very thankful for the soya / oat milk in the fridge for us too. The little path to the joiners arms could have been lite a little better from the road to the static caravans but the pub was great also, food was delicious and breakfast was fantastic, great options. The village and walk to Beach especially with the added sunshine and heat on...
「Light bright rooms, overlooking fields with castle & sea in the distance. Plenty of parking at front of building. Sraff extremely helpful. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice both cold & cooked. There is an onsite cafe adjouning hotel which was ideal. They served hot & cold dishes, variety of sandwiches, cakes, puds etc. It is open 24/7 & used by passersby on A1.
Very central for trips to Bamburgh, Seahouses, Lindisfarne etc.
We would definitely recommend & will be making a return jorney...

Significant problem in that to ensure right mix of tables, all through the meal tables were being dismantled rolled out to a storage room and others replaced and set . A bit like breakfast whilst refurbishment on going .」

We booked in for dinner which was absolutely delicious and would highly recommend. The area is beautiful, we will definitely be back! 」
