「Great location short walk to a very nice beach and local eateries. Host answered any questions I had. Location has the availability to park two vehicles which in a beach community is very handy.」

Then two hours later they called me and said “we have you the wrong key to the wrong house” when we walk back to the check in they tell us because of they’re mistake they took all of our stuff in the rooms and moved it to the other room, then they also found our car keys and moved our car. 「A family wedding brought us to this area.The Ocean Retreat was everything as advertised. We especially appreciated the host'sresponsiveness to any questions. The murphy bed was surprisingly comfortable and the shower was amazing. We appreciated the cleanliness and loved the goodies!We would stay again!」

「Great location. Right in the strip and directly across the street from the beach but the unit was still peaceful and quiet. The place had everything needed. Plenty of towels. Could have used another fan so we could shut the bedroom doors. Would definitely rent here again.」

「Very clean and new basement apartment with its own entrance. There are lots of amenities not commonly found in other rentals: personal hygiene, high quality soaps and haircare items. Location was good to walk to some local restaurants and bars. The owners live upstairs but give you plenty of privacy. It is in a nice and quiet area. No complaints, if a larger bed would fit that would be ideal but i understand space is limited. There was some pitter parter of small feet above at times but nothing...

「Great spot to stay in Newburyport. Walkable to all downtown restaurants and the Clipper rail trail. Quiet room itself, kinda like an “efficiency” apartment. Everything was clean and up to date. The pictures are accurate. Parking is limited and tight - I was lucky to park each night, but it’s close to overnight parking should you need it.」
