Stunning home with partial ocean view, with impressive, open-air architecture. 3 minute walk to the bluff trail, and 2.5 miles from the cute beach town of Gualala, where you'll find galleries and restaurants. The bluff trail doesn't disappoint.
Great amenities, fully stocked kitchen, furnace that heats the place up in no time. Didn't try the hot tub, but there's a Jacuzzi-like bathtub in the bathroom.
The 3rd floor has a small outdoor patio and a small room with a picture window, perfect for watching the sunset.
Couple of gotchas: the bedrooms, although lovely, comfy, and with great views, have no doors, and the black-out shades don't really block out the light, so bring a sleeping mask. The internet is spotty unless you're in the office. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and the staircase is slightly steep, so keep that in mind for the climbing-impaired.
That said, it was altogether a delightful stay with a gracious host.
