🌿 THE ESSENCE OF THE PLACE
This apartment lives within the unique atmosphere of the three Monterotondo Holiday Homes, set in the quiet countryside of Sciacca. Here, your vacation shifts pace: less noise, more space, more air. It’s a place that doesn’t ask you to “do”, but to be. To slow down, breathe, let go.

All around you: greenery, light, and a calm you feel the moment you arrive. Privacy comes naturally, without effort—you’re far from the chaos and closer to yourself. Days unfold unhurried: breakfast outdoors, a walk in nature, a book finally read, a pause that turns into meditation. This is Sicily at its most intimate—the kind that brings you back into balance.

And then the setting: between sea view and olive trees, the horizon follows every moment, from the first coffee to sunset. Fresh air, open spaces, real silence—the kind that makes you feel lighter.


🏖️ “ALMOST PRIVATE” BEACH
When you want real sea, there’s a small ritual that makes it even more special. You walk down a dirt track—about 20 minutes downhill, surrounded by countryside: an easy route, with just enough adventure to heighten the reward.

At the bottom, a wide, secluded beach awaits, with a mix of sand and pebbles and clear waters in a crystal-blue shade. It’s a place that’s not easy to reach—almost “protected”—and that’s why it stays authentic, spacious, and peaceful. After the first stretch of sand and small stones, the seabed becomes pure sand, perfect for swimming and enjoying the water slowly.

The walk is immersed in nature, often with grazing cows in nearby fields and the horizon always ahead. A true rarity: this stretch of coast can be reached only via this path on foot, and for many it’s difficult (if not impossible) to access.


💦 POOL (ABOVE-GROUND)
When you return, the home welcomes you back in the best way: a dip, a few minutes in the sun, and time slows down again. Perfect when you want to cool off without going anywhere—or stretch the relaxation all the way to sunset.

Important note: the pool will be open and available from June to September/October.

Private parking with reserved access via an automatic gate: convenient, safe, and worry-free for your entire stay.

The most genuine side of this place: from the organic garden we pick seasonal fruit and vegetables for you to enjoy here—fresh, like a daily gift from Sicily. Real flavors and colors, hard to find elsewhere.

🔑 ACCESS TO THE HOME (EASY & FLEXIBLE):
The apartment is on the GROUND FLOOR and has a PRIVATE ENTRANCE: easy and convenient access, ideal even for those who prefer to avoid steps.
✅ Only exception: to reach the double bedroom there are 3 steps.

🏠 You will have full and exclusive access to all indoor areas of the apartment.
The villa’s common areas (pool, laundry room, barbecue area, parking, gated entrance) are shared with us (the hosts) and with guests staying in the other two apartments, always with respect for everyone’s privacy.

• CHECK-IN: from 3:00 PM onwards
• CHECK-OUT: by 10:00 AM

Check-in is in person with our staff or directly with us (the hosts) by 9:00 PM, so we can welcome you and explain everything calmly.

🚗 A car is highly recommended to move independently to Sciacca town center, supermarkets, and the main attractions, given the quiet and secluded location.

🚌 No local buses or public transport reach this area ❌
🚕 Private taxis are available (❌ no Uber or similar services)

ℹ️ A FEW THINGS TO KNOW:

• “Almost private” beach (walk-only access):
To reach it, you walk down a dirt track surrounded by nature (about 20 minutes downhill). The way back is uphill and may take a bit of effort—part of the experience, perfect for those who love authentic, quiet places.

• Mosquitoes and ants in the warm season:
As we’re in the countryside, during the summer months you may occasionally encounter mosquitoes and ants. For comfort, we suggest keeping an eye on food (especially if left outside) and using your personal repellents.

• Countryside area (car recommended):
We’re in a very quiet, rural area, yet only a few kilometers from Sciacca and key services (supermarkets, restaurants, etc.). To get around independently, a car is strongly recommended.

If you’re staying as 2 or 3 guests but would like everyone to sleep in separate beds, please let us know in advance so we can prepare everything properly for your arrival.

📜 HOUSE RULES TO BE AWARE OF AND ACCEPT BEFORE YOUR STAY:


🆔 IDENTIFICATION (MANDATORY):
After booking, you will receive:
• a link to register your documents (ID), which is required for communication with the police authorities (art. 109 TULPS / Alloggiati Web).


🗑️ WASTE MANAGEMENT (MANDATORY):
Separate waste collection is mandatory and must be complied with according to the municipal calendar, which you will receive in the house manual and which will be explained at check-in.
🚫 Waste must never be left inside the house, for any reason.
🕗 Every evening, you must place the bins with the bags outside the gate, following the indicated calendar.


🚭 SMOKING:
Smoking is prohibited inside the house (including electronic cigarettes). There are smoke detectors that could trigger the alarm.
✅ Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas.


🚫🐾 ANIMALS IN THE POOL:
Animals are not allowed in the pool.


👶🏼🏊‍♂️ CHILD SAFETY:
Children must be supervised at all times, especially in the pool area.
